Blade of the Exile: Give +2|+0, Quick Attack, and Overwhelm for the round
I think that Quick Attack and Overwhelm are likely because they would make the 7|3 Challenger make at least some sense, and given that the other Blade Fragments likely have other effects than just giving Power, Quick Attack and Overwhelm feel like the most natural keywords.
I love this! The fragment Tokens open up the possibility of Viktor/Riven, Zoe/Riven, and Taric/Riven. As for this card, it seems amazing because compared the Gift Giver it generates a card that is essentially a better Gem (assuming that all the Blade Fragments are approximately equal value). I really think that Taric/Riven or even Jae/Riven/Draven could be possible with this.
EDIT: I just realized that it’s give and not Grant. It still seems pretty good though, it’s like a better Draven’s Axe in a deck that doesn’t want to discard.
I'm not the biggest Swim fan, but this video it's very interesting.
Wasn't expecting fearsome not being one of the "big" of the meta, i don't know if the meta shown in the video it's NA, but i'd say in EU it's more frequent. (EDIT: i'm stupid, i just realized that the "meta" shown in the video it's only considering the decks of the 32 Americas top players... Btw the diversity it's great, more than 21 different decks just from those 32 players)
The line up FTR - fearsome - X (a deck with generally good match ups) it's great, i did bring a similar one, with Ez-Draven instead of TF go hard, because i am pretty confident with that deck and it was the only deck i was sure to bring in the tournament.
In the end i was unlucky with Ez-Draven in the very first set and i ended up 4-1, i think my line-up was all right, as i never played in a tournament and i'm happy with my result.
I'll surely watch EU tournament tomorrow, but probably i'll even watch Americas, as i find the tournament games so much more enjoyable than ladder ones
As someone who is only a few wins away from 3000 with rogue, I could definitely appreciate a fancy hero power border to show that my lovely Cap'n Valeera portrait shows off a mere third of my experience with the class.
Since there is such a tiny calling for it from the community I wouldn't say this is something Blizzard have "messed up" on. Nevertheless, I do think it is an elegant and efficient way to add cosmetics for high numbers of wins without needing to bother commissioning 10 new pieces of art every 500 wins.
In my oppinion it would be very cool, if they would introduce new ones every cycle, so there would be a real diversity on the ladder. But they are not very consistent of keeping time-exclusive content time exclusive, so that argument doesn't seem right.
A little defense of my card: I thought giving Mage a wand as a Weapon in an expansion themed around a magic school would be flavourful. I mean, what kind of card type would you make a wand if not a weapon? The wand increasing your magical abilities seemed natural, too, thus the Spell Damage. Triggering the effect was meant to be easy as well, since a mage should not have problems using their wand to their advantage. I concede that the 3/2/1 statline is a bit random but the point I was trying to make is that a "stick" isn't that great of a weapon. Finally, I accept that this would be very powerful in a meta without weapon removal, but my argument against that point is that Scholomance brought along strong Weapons synergies for at least Demon Hunter, Warrior and Rogue.
I don't think the problem with the card is so much that it's a Mage weapon, but rather that it's incredibly broken.
You play it, and you just have Spell Damage +2 for the rest of the game if you just don't attack with it. This is why weapons that have passive effects like this are often avoided, because it's better to just not attack with them.

Reforge is Legends of Runeterra's New Keyword in Cosmic Creation Plus 1 New Card
My prediction for the other Blade Fragments:
1. Give Quick Attack and +1|+0 for the round
2. Give Overwhelm and +1|+0 for the round

New Neutral Minion - Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate
It happens if a spell gets Countered or gooed by Oh My Yogg. It advances the card text but not the actual effect. It's an annoying bug.
You can at least tell if it happened - the border won't be yellow if it isn't active, even if it says "Ready".

New Noxus Card - Arrel the Tracker
If Riven makes Gem-like tokens, Arrel could be very good. Also, she's a good combination with Taric.
Viktor Gives It All with Targon!
Too expensive. It doesn't come with Elusive, generate created-by cards, or cost very little, so I cut it from the deck.

Hearthstone Off-Meta Picks for the Wild Side! Play Something Fun
I wouldn't see C'Thun, the Shattered just as a win con: most of the times, its pieces may help you against certain matchup.
Moreover, if you're Secret Mage you have Arcane Flakmage and Flame Ward (and don't forget Zephrys the Great) against Token Druid and in the mirror.
