It's not cheap, and it's definitely a tempo loss on the turn you play it, but I think the effect is so strong in the long game that odd paladins will run this even though topdecking it will lose some games in an aggro race. Not sure that it can go into any other deck, but I don't think it needs to to be powerful.
Firstly, why is Lothraxion at the Darkmoon Faire? It is related to neither the Light nor the Legion. And what has he got to do with the Silver Hand? I'm not sure why they're intent on shoehorning actual pally characters into recent expansions when making new ones would do fine.
Well, maybe because Lothraxion is afiliated with Silver Hand paladins.
Token DH simply doesn't have a reason to use this nor does it have the time to summon a 5 mana 5/3 that doesn't summon tokens
Big Demon DH likes to keep their demons on their deck to cheat them out and to not clog their hand. However, in this archetype, there is merit in playing this card for generating more answers, which is important because Demon Hunter has very few cards purely designed to answer threats in their arsenal. But even in this scenario, you're probably behind on board and summoning a 5/3 for 5 mana that can be answered swiftly while keeping up pressure on you.
It's a lot like Dark Pharaoh Tekahn, with +1/+1 and infinite dudes with HP. I think to get back to a Dude-adin deck, there still needs to be more related cards revealed, because right now I don't see it happening.
This thing is completely nuts. Giving out free divine shields to dudes not only upgrades your hero power but allows paladin an additional way to constantly keep a board up, which basically solves one of the biggest problems with paladin.
Does it have problems? Yes. Basically there's a slight negative synergy with Pen Flinger decks where getting your small dudes dead is generally considered as a good thing, since it combos with Libram of Wisdom and all that pen flinging. It also doesn't gel well with the Balloon Merchant, since that also gives out divine shield, but that is admitably only a tiny problem.
But built properly, with some board buffs this can easily flip the game. Might be what aggro paladin needs to work.
It will be broken, if not now, then later, or just in wild, where odd pally isn't exactly slowing down anyway.
Five mana is pretty expensive in Wild, particularly for a relatively fast deck like Odd Paladin that's typically trying to win the game within a turn or two after this guy would drop. Steward of Darkshire already gives Dudes the bubble much earlier than this new card. Five-mana plays in Odd Paladin currently either have to win the game (Quartermaster, Leeroy) or set up a next-turn lethal (Loatheb locks the opponent out, Authority creates a giant Dude, etc.) Trying to do cute things by trading efficiently, making your Dudes sticky, etc, currently isn't worth so much mana. I expect folks to experiment with the new card, but it seems very unlikely to stick.
If Dude Paladin becomes a deck in Standard, this will likely see play - but otherwise, not. A Paladin deck that isn't trying to leverage its Hero Power likely won't care if they get a free Argent Squire after turn five (usually later, given that this guy won't be drawn on-curve the majority of the time.)
But - it'll see some play, and isn't awful, so I gave it 3 stars.
Yeah, all the other classes so far fit the fair theme, and then paladin over here with its shoehorned legendaries that don't fit at all. Everyone else seems to have a carnie/staff/old god minion then paladin's over here with two random lore characters who just decided to come to the fair I guess
Odd Pala is definitely a strong deck which pops back to tier 1 from every now and then, depending on the meta. The only thing I think may hold this card back is that it might be too slow. Odd Pala is an extremely refined deck already and will have a lot of competition for card slots.
When you thought Silver hand recruits couldn't be more annoying than they already are, this one can be a killer machine. Giving a free shield for each recruit summon is broken. It makes your opponent wonder if they should trade or not just to kill the Silver Hand. With the buff spells it makes them even more annoying.
The only problem is to draw it early, but given the rng it is most likely to be drawn somehow.
Midrange Paladins would be happy to play this in order to protect their recruits while building pressure.
A Paladin minion with a demon tag? I've seen it all...
The effect is good since Divine Shields are annoying to deal with, and this will definitely be a must-include in a Silver Hand Paladin deck (dunno if there's space for it in Odd Paladin though). Strikes me as a win-more card though, reminds me of Dark Pharaoh Tekhan.
First-time Ranked Rewards
Thanks for the reply! Most likely I'll go for legend, which I know for a fact I never got since the new system was put into place.

Looking forward to playing with this card.

New Paladin Minion - Lothraxion the Redeemed
If it were even, a 1/1 DS for 1 Mana could be summoned every turn. Would that be better?
New Demon Hunter Minion - Zai, the Incredible
Remember how Demon Hunter's weakness was supposed to be card generation? So much for that.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Zai, the Incredible
Ok, so while the card is a pretty interesting one, I can't seem to find where I can slide them in:
In short, Zai, the Incredible is really cool, but really awkward.
New Paladin Minion - Lothraxion the Redeemed
Well, I'm done playing wild guys. This is going to be obnoxious.

Huh, I was wondering if and how and will they insert a Demon for menagerie Paladin.
New Paladin Minion - Lothraxion the Redeemed
If there is any board buffs to be revealed, this one will be absolutely cancerous. But for now its just mildly broken.
Can't wait to see the return of aggro paladin, and this one might just be the centerpiece missing for it to work.

Brutal upgrade of Hero power on reasonable body?? Wow. Just wow.
Wild Odd Palasin will love this.

Blizzard trying to spread awareness of STIs by making sure your small dudes are protected when they're "reporting for duty".
I'll see myself out.

Yes it's being played a lot at the moment in my experience.
If opponent already played tour guide on the previous turn they'll get two shield silver hand recruits on turn 5 (or 4 with coin).
At least it's not 3 mana with less stats.

5... mana...
Blizzard. When will you learn, that your actions have consequences?
New Paladin Minion - Lothraxion the Redeemed
Very cool effect. Wouldn't be surprised if this legendary managed to find it's way into pure paladin decklists.
The lore around this dreadlord is quite interesting as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=qyoMLODeXQM

The effect is strong ofc, but yes idk what the lore is about with this guy at the Darkmoon Faire. Is he a customer? Just a wanderer? Or sth else.
