I find it rather disingenuous of you to make a direct comparison to a playstyle in chess that you state explicitly is not more skillful than actually playing chess normally and isn't even hard to do - and then use that to claim that using RNG in hearthstone actually IS skillful and hard to do.
Surely you have to realize that this is not a fair comparison at all. In the chess example, you are (by your own admission) less skilled than your opponent. Therefore (if you're using that as an actual analogy), in the hearthstone example of RNG, you're also less skilled than your opponent. Analogy is analogy, good sir. If you don't like it, you should use a different analogy.
Just imagine for a minute that those support buffs given by Ionia units are not temporary, but are permanent instead. These units include Young Witch, Fuzzy Caretaker (and Taric from Targon), with Pix! and Herald of Spring as honorable mentions. Now add to those support buffs the following spell buffs: Pale Cascade, Spirit's Refuge, Rush, Ghost, Twin Disciplines, and Sonic Wave (along with Resonating Strike). Again, we're imagining that these buffs are permanent additions to any unit that gets them, including the keywords (except barrier).
Now toss Lee Sin into this stew. Let that simmer for a while in your mind.
I'm interested in utilizing this alongside Vi and Braum. Use Counterfeit Copies to shuffle a bunch of Vis into the deck and just kill the opponent with a bunch of leveled up Vis. Maybe Trundle is better than Braum for stabilization. I need to test this idea.
Remember that this has the same rules as the random pack drops and not the packs with watching time so, there a just a selected number of countries eligible for these drops
the link to the rules is in the bottom of this article:
Just think about it: you have to draw and play 4 cards for 1 cycle, this way you add additional copies to your deck so that you have a great chance to topdeck a 1 mana drain 1 spell in lategame (where the low cost is meaningless and the spellside too weak).
In the end you usually get to play 1 pack your bags in exchange for 5 drawn cards what is aweful if you think about it...
unless your deck gets to draw 10 additional cards per game we won't talk about this card working out and such a deck is not a thing right now...
I love the flavor of everyone's cards! I've been very busy the past couple of weeks, as far as feedback and discussion, but figured I'd post here in case there are any large comments before submitting.
Problem here I notice is that it uses the same art as Desperate Stand. And it's in the same set!
One other slightly unfortunate thing about the card is that you need to resurrect a Deathrattle minion or else it basically does nothing.

I wasn't really annoyed by this stuff before, but now I see something that pisses me off beyond all measure.
They have locked a legitimate LoR Guardian behind the K/DA premium paywall! I never intended to buy into the K/DA event because I genuinely don't need it in my life, and I had hoped that all the stuff it unlocked would have to do with K/DA. I still don't intend to buy in, but now there's no way for me to get the Stellacorn.
I mean, it's whatever, since it feels like Riot's design and balance decisions are gradually driving me out of the game anyway, but still ...
I got my hand on this card right at the start of the KDA event and I gotta say: I never thought that i would play Teemo in a serious ranked deck but now i do and i think my opponents do not like to face 20 elusive damage on turn 6-8
I had a discussion about this when it was first announced. I feel similarly to you, in that I always thought exploring the alternate LoL universes was inevitable, but I did gather that the main issue is how much of an aesthetic mismatch there is between K/DA and fantasy LoR. That puts it on a different level to a holy Ragnaros, which is a long way from canon but still firmly within the usual fantasy genre of Warcraft.
That said, from what I can tell the main LoL universe looks to be a mess of anachronisms, and you don't need to stretch it too far before you're allowing K-pop and motorbikes alongside medieval soldiers.
RNG vs skill: a false competition

I care not about cosmetics I don't have to buy. I'm just curious about how the cards will impact the game. A couple of them look interesting for sure.

I really doubt that this card is actually good.
