  • New Neutral Minion - Al'ar

Terrible, just...terrible. Don't think I have anything unique to add, in terms of commentary; it's just that bad.

  • New Neutral Minion - Magtheridon

This is an interesting card, big minion with strong stats that should be easier to accomplish than The Darkness

I'm sure there's a list out there that will allow you to use this guy consistently

  • New Paladin Spell - Libram of Wisdom

  • New Neutral Minion - Kael'thas Sunstrider

This card isn't for me, but I'm sure someone will find a way to abuse it (...I guess they have already).

  • New Neutral Minion - Al'ar

Unlike cards like Waxdred or The plant from Ungoro this is easy to remove and easy to make sure it doesn't come back since the ashed have a measily 3 health.

It's saving grace is the elemental tag, which might lend itself to some elemental deck list

  • New Paladin Minion - Aldor Truthseeker

This card is double-edged play. Depends on how librams will impact the meta. If they screwed, this will be another archetype and card that is the part of forgetten archetypes crypt.

  • Demonic Obsession - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread

    Noted and fixed.

  • New Neutral Minion - Kael'thas Sunstrider

Kaelthas has a strong effect and has found homes in Mage and Shaman, with Shaman seeing Lady Vashj's prime form drawing spells and greatly reducing their cost I imagine Kael and Vashj will be great buddies, just like in Frozen Throne

  • New Paladin Weapon - Underlight Angling Rod

This is not a swarm murloc paladin card.

This card is for Murloc/Dragon deck that you will distract your enemy with early murlocs and generating some while you're killing threats then your big guys takes the place with Scalelord and some murloc swarm finishers with Murgurgle Prime etc.

Really liked the design of the deck and will probably try it if i get Murgur Murgurgle from packs. Skyfin and new murlocs shouldn't be minions that you underestimate. Skyfin has great impact on board even noone uses it right now. You should give it a try in paladin.

I liked the style of new murlocs that synergizes other than their own archetype.

  • We Won't Be Participating in April Fools 2020

Awwww, and here I thought that would have been the 1st April fools joke.  =*(

  • New Paladin Spell - Libram of Hope

9-mana slot was so empty in Paladin and this cards fills it like a boss.

  • Wrapter's Frostbite Control

annihilates spiders, plus its a recurring threat if u manage her last breath when enlightned

  • New Paladin Minion - Lady Liadrin

I already have bad time to set my handsize with Paladin although Paladin lacks card draw.

There are so much card generating with Paladin and get more and more. You will never need card draw if you are not playing combo pally.

  • New Warrior Minion - Imprisoned Gan'arg

on one hand this is really slow, on the other hand this frees up mana on turn 3 by equiping the Fiery war axe to your character, giving you a more flexible turn.

It's not terrible but I'm not sure if it'll see constructed play...

  • New Mage Minion - Starscryer

Tutors are always nice and this has even better stats than Loot Hoarder.

Team 5 has really a different balance wisdom...

  • New Mage Spell - Incanter's Flow

    Bored to see mana cheat.

Ok, I can understand that it is funny to see unexpected plays in card games but Rush/Weapons/spells already doing good with surprising your opponent. Do we really this much mana cheat in Hearthstone ?

Mana cheat is nice "only" when there are a few. Not that much !

  • New Warrior Spell - Sword and Board

This is a good spell, it's cheap, it deals damage and gains armor a turn earlier than 2.

that damage will help remove some early game threats like flame imps, also. great for early board control

  • New Warrior Minion - Bonechewer Raider

3 mana 4/4 that removes a minion is pretty good, the condition isn't hard for warrior to accomplish either with all their cheap spells that ping for 1 damage

  • New Mage Spell - Netherwind Portal

4-cost minions are mostly my favorite ones, but so much of them have good battlecrys and weak bodies which lowers this cards power level.

But hey, If you use this, you have probably other secrets and Ethereal Arcanist is a 4-cost minion which would synergize with your deck very well. :)

    Feedback time!

@Xarkkal - I really like this idea in general, and the lore relevance just makes it even better. I thought the buff was too much at first, but then I saw the comments about Blood Knight and Totem Cruncher and I realised it is pretty on par. as was mentioned already, it would be pretty weak in the present meta, but it's one of those cards I'd see and either be excited to try in Wild, or be hyped for future support.

CovenantKevlar - This is such a cool idea that fits so naturally into HS that I was honestly surprised when I thought back and realised we have never had this concept applied to weapons, or Warrior. I think it is at a good power level, for the cost, and the cost is low enough to be useful, but high enough it couldn't be too horribly abused by aggro decks. I like it :)

@Nirast - It's a neat idea, but I think it could get out of hand very quickly. Perhaps "destroy a beast and gain its enchantments" would be more manageable? I saw the other idea and I like it much more. It's difficult to evaluate the power level, because it depends how many big beats with powerful enchantments are in the meta, but at the least you could run it for destroying your own beasts in a deathrattle Hunter, and that sounds pretty cool to me.

@BasilAnguis - I much prefer the Firestarter Fiend. A symmetrical Auchenai effect is a nice twist, but at its heart it is still something Priests have already had three times now. Whereas, the Fiend quite neatly introduces an effect I have tried to express before without success - a fun snowball of spell damage for a casino mage type deck. I don't think it is overpowered as is, because gaining decent use form it is contingent on casting many low-cost spells, which are inherently low-impact. It would be much less frustrating than, say, Flamewaker, which turned even non-damaging low-cost spells into board clears.

@Wailor - My favourite of these is the Imprisoned Nathrethim. This may get me called a madman, but I honestly miss MCT sometimes. Those effects are so game-changing, and always make for a memorable experience. I think giving your opponent a 2-turn warning on when the effect is going to happen is honestly the best way to reintroduce this to the game without it being too un-fun to play against. I also really appreciate the nice lore consideration. :) Just remember to give it the Demon tribe!

@Dermostatic - I like the Deathrattle version's statline better, but perhaps you could change to "Battlecry: Discover a Plague" to give more reliability but similar power-level. I also agree with others that said it is kind of bucking the themes of the Year of the Dragon to give Paladin an evil character, and to give it Plague interaction. I think a simple switch to Priest would resolve that.

@Satanley - I like the concept, but I feel like the 3 ideas are either too strong, or too complex. How about this instead: 4 mana, 3/2, "Rush. Overkill: become Immune until the start of your next turn." You could make it a Rastakhan's Rumble card to match the use of Overkill.

@CaptainDG - Both of these are very interesting, but I like the Rogue card better. I feel the whole theme and art and everything fits very nicely. I would however say it should probably be a 3 mana 3/2 for that strong an effect.

@anchorm4n - I like the concept of a demonic warrior that gives you a huge weapon, but I think you could find some cool lore to entice the voters, and give you some inspiration to nail down the specifics, if you had a peruse of the WoW wiki. There are some in depth pages about the Legion and their forces. I'm sure there's some beefy general in there that would fit your concept.

@Shivershine - Of the two, I prefer the Sea Mistress. It reminds me of a Darkscale Healer, but revamped for modern day power levels. I would however say it should be at most a 4/4. If you consider it will be "waking up" at turn 4, that is already a very good statline for such a powerful healing effect.

@linkblade91 - I can see the scariness of a 12-health minion, but it is 8 mana. It's no scarier than something like, say, Ysera. Usually Divine Spirit decks are trying to get the big minions out early, and can easily get to 12 health long before turn 8. The effect could also inhibit that kind of deck, because they wouldn't be able to use targeted spells for taunt removal while the minion is on the board. There may well be a broken combo I haven't thought of yet, but I don't think DS is it.

  • New Mage Minion - Imprisoned Observer

One of the better Dormant cards. At least this one is better than Hunter and Warrior dormants.

Can be played around tho. But might be used like Doomsayer to just lag your opponent a bit. This card has some strategy in it. Liked it.

  • New Mage Minion - Apexis Smuggler

I don't think secret archetype supported like this.

I mean, Secret archetype supported for a defensive or midrange tool for Mage. We already saw aggressive Secret Mages so much time it should be enough for designer team too. We, at least I, want to see something different for Secret archetype. Something that protects you like Ice Block etc. and cards that synergizes well with it.

  • New Warrior Spell - Corsair Cache

Lot of people looking to Ancharr for this weapon and I can't see it as the only weapon you'd want to play with this card.

For one thing you'd have no other weapons for this card to draw, making the second copy a terrible top deck.

Using this with something like Wrenchcaliber however or even the livewire lance might be worth it, though.

Especially with Hack the System for improved card draw

  • New Mage Spell - Apexis Blast

Firelands Portal reprint and you might know that I hate reprints...

They really have no idea to make something new for mage it seems.
