This card is a stronger Firelands Portal in the right deck, but in standard I doubt that is possible to create a "spell only" mage right now. Anyway it's a good card from a random generator
Very slow Dreampetal Florist. Also forces you to play any minion you draw in the interlude turn, which could turn out poorly for you, setting aside any shenanigans from the opponent.
@linkblade91: I'm not sure about it being a Battlecry. It seems like just having "Enemies are 'judged' and take double damage" would flow better and wouldn't have to deal with Brewmasters or silences making the effect permanent.
That's a good point; thanks for the feedback. How about this? Edit: I can also remove the face-damage if that would be less scary. It becomes significantly less interesting, in my opinion.
As for your cards, I feel like Arcane Observer would garner more votes, even though I think I prefer Felwood Satyr.
For me it's a Panic buttons like Yog's box. It's less randomic (since you chose what spell cast and where) but will probably able to cast 1-2 spell (and u must win or stabilize the game)
Ramp typically does not do well in wild. A deck that really needs to get to a certain amount of mana fast would do better with ritual cards in most cases. Really highlights the power of biology project.
hi all, here's my first look (i'm sure I'll try some shaman lark before time).
@ demonx this seems just right. yes, it can power spike with shadow step etc but that feels situational and with appropriate power ceiling.
@Link I think it's cool except for the face damage. I'm sure there would be a way of prismatic lense/ tip the scales ana exploiting it, apart from any board becoming a top deck lethal from way out.
Looking at the footage from streamers playing new decks, this card is quietly one of the clutchest Control DH tools out here. This card is better than Bone Wraith in terms of defensive viability, and imo, by quite a bit.

@Demonxz95: Looks like a good card to me, although it's not very "Demon-y" if that makes sense.
Anyway, two ideas I came up with. Both are meant to fit their respective class while having more destructive abilities.
Slots into a mecha'thun + auctioneer deck as well as any 0-mana spell, maybe slightly worse than bogbeam as it makes your auctioneer harder to remove to prepare for the mecha'thun. Probably not going to be used outside of that, but it could see play in a kael'thas deck, where turn 5 biology project makes this cost 0. Less positive on this than bogbeam.
While the expedition changes do suck, we will still get a champion for free every week. It just won't be from the expedition. Our vaults will have a champion as long as we hit level 3 vault.
Oh I actually love these changes overall. Currently the only palpable value the vaults are giving me each week are the champions, and I'd much rather get mine up front than need to spend ~2-3 hours doing two expedition trials to see who I open. Plus I really appreciate how even super-casual players are given consequential rewards for putting in a bare minimum each week. I was just concerned with what to do in the immediate future since I had 2 tokens and a lot of missing champions.
Interesting card...if 75% of the time on turn 4 he trade something and survive (or go face) it's a good card. In the other case play a card, wait 2 turn and then he die it's not thrilling
The feeling I get from this expansion is that Blizzard is trying to regain the interest of players - and they show us that they hear what we say (new class, duplicate protection). In my case, they regained my interest and I'm willing to throw some time and money onto this.
Druids get Molten Reflection now. Worse than floop nearly always unless you needed the stats. Molten reflection is mostly used to copy giants before a time warp or apprentices to set up antonidas. a lot of druid's combo wincons, currently, either do not benefit from being copied, z.B. Aviana, Kael, or are played to die to set up a floop version, z.B Malygos. Some versions of malygos with dreampetal might use this with swipe + 2 moonfire for lethal, but given that malygos>germination>2moonfire+swipe is the same number of cards as the also lethal malygos>2moonfire+2swipe, they would likely not add more cards that are useless outside of the combo.
I was excited about Priest before seeing the card reveal but was let down on what was revealed. I still have hope that it'll perform well on the ladder!
I fondly remember the aggro token druid decks with prenerf innervate, but this is no Living Mana. Very dependant on having a full hand, which is probably bad. Probably goes the way of Wispering Woods in wild, building towards a maybe critical mass of 'fill your board with minions' cards that demand answering without wasting the anthems.
Ashes of Outland cards didn't impress me that much. I feel like most cards are really straight forward and no card is interesting enough to bring some new never seen mechanics to the game. But I still enjoy the rotation and meta change, specially with the new class. So hyped :)
New Mage Minion - Apexis Smuggler
Blizzard really like Secret Mage in wild XD
In standard it's a 2 mana drop with a strong effect, but i don't see the right deck for this card
New Mage Spell - Apexis Blast
This card is a stronger Firelands Portal in the right deck, but in standard I doubt that is possible to create a "spell only" mage right now. Anyway it's a good card from a random generator
New Druid Minion - Imprisoned Satyr
Very slow Dreampetal Florist. Also forces you to play any minion you draw in the interlude turn, which could turn out poorly for you, setting aside any shenanigans from the opponent.

So....... Umm where has combo gone
I've thought this thread is about how Rogue didn't get any Combo keyword card this expansion at first.
New Mage Spell - Evocation
For me it's a Panic buttons like Yog's box. It's less randomic (since you chose what spell cast and where) but will probably able to cast 1-2 spell (and u must win or stabilize the game)
New Druid Spell - Overgrowth

New Mage Minion - Astromancer Solarian
Super strong card for sure! Solid base form and strong prime version. Autoinclude in the future Highlander Mage (or maybe ALL mage deck XD)

I hated the year of the dragon but I have good feelings about Ashes of Outland. Maybe it's because of Illidian :)

Should we expend all our expedition tokens before Tuesday?

New Priest Minion - Reliquary of Souls
Great card if you get it early enough. One of the only good cards Priest received this expansion.
New Hunter Minion - Helboar
Just a decent 1-drop; the effect is ok, but the 1 hp is too low for aggressive deck
New Hunter Minion - Imprisoned Felmaw

Good job Blizzard!
New Priest Spell - Soul Mirror
Looks like a decent board clear/minion generator. I just don't this spell warrants a legendary tag.
New Druid Spell - Germination

Nice off puzzle box.

New Hunter Spell - Scavenger's Ingenuity
Tutor draw with a buff. Strong card and if it draw the Prime it even better
New Druid Spell - Glowfly Swarm
