Along with the legendary quests that I immediately got rid of, I conveniently got the “Play 2 Tavern Brawls” daily yesterday. I don’t think so, Blizzard!
I interpreted "something such as your chick" as a minion with the dragon tribe because I thought you might refer to DragonDraena's nickname and profile picture.
My choice fell on Zzeraku because "Braw" spelled backwards is "warb" which is close enough to "warped".
"The cake is a lie" is a reference to the video game Portal where the player has to solve mazes created by an AI that promises a cake in case of success. There are graffiti on the maze's walls that state "the cake is a lie", meaning the player should try to escape because they'll probably gonna be killed no matter what. I really really liked that game, but I have also found additional meaning in the quote: I personally see it as the antithesis to the American Dream. The story of the dishwasher who becomes a millionaire is an illusion of the capitalist elite that's meant to keep you working your ass off.
Yeah, I just created a new support ticket for this. I had contacted them in the past and got mixed feelings/results. It strongly depends on which Game Master picks up your ticket.
Yeah, I did the very same thing. Even though my gold stash allows me to participate in this event many times over, I simply refuse to participate in this "fan favorite" scam brawliseum. I have no hope they will learn anything from the hopefully poor stats of this event.

I think i found the source of the missing card votes issue. If you refresh the individual voting page, you leave it and come back, or close the browser and return WITHOUT voting, it doesn't show you the same card anymore. it skips to the next one. Also if you voted on all cards, then 3 more cards get submitted and you return to the voting page later, you will not see those 3 cards. you will only see 2. One gets skipped. Even if you get the "you've seen all submissions!" page, leave, return later, you will have a skipped card. I imagine that blank page with "you've seen all submissions" counts somehow as placeholder for the next future submission. Which gets skipped when you return to vote later on.
I really like your idea, it's very little effort on Blizzard's part and it incentivizes the community to make their own tournament sites and opt into the API. But knowing Blizzard... they'll come up with some lame excuse saying the community will maliciously abuse the API
yup, I'd really love to know how Team 5 do their decision making coz this predatory pattern isn't looking good, it's making them out like villains. Lots of newer players would've fallen for this trap and probably just stopped playing the game all together when they couldn't afford the mini-set, how does that benefit Blizzard and the community?
I had a really bad experience with the first few heroic brawls so I totally appreciate people being shy of it. I think it is nice that there is some kind of high stakes event every once in a while for the big spenders. And it is a little funny that we all got so used to free pack normal brawls that any disruption feels like a slight. I think offering up a bonus on this brawl is a positive step, even if the slot machine is a better gamble
