Leave any demon hunters minions alive and you think your safe behind your taunts? well think again. i thought they stopped printing charge cards, but hey seems like effects like these are part of the demon hunter class identity i guess?
Hm Demon Hunter... more like the new definition of "Face Hunter".
while a 2/4 with Rush isn't ideal, I think with the help of cards like Diving Gryphon, Tracking and the new Scavenger's Ingenuity, you should be able to find the prime version easily enough for this card to be worth playing.
Well, a 3 mana 3/4 stealth isn't bad. But it also isn't something you would really want to make space for in your deck. But with the permanent stealth, it is worth it.
The question is, does your deck play slow enough, or with enough draw to be able to draw the same card twice? Or does your deck aim to close out games before you get the prime minion?
All in all I think the card is too slow to see play. Even when you get the perma-stealth minion, what then? You still have to wait a turn before it can attack, and then you have to wait one more round in order to get enough damage from the card that it is better than Fireball.
Even though she knows she can little afford to lose the 3 health, Valeera sits smugly in front of the other 8 original heroes who have always mocked her for not having a single taunt minion to her name...
In a lot of classes, Kayn Sunfury would be incredibly broken, but Demon Hunter (from what we've seen so far) seems to have a lot of smaller minions and a lot of big expensive minions. The former is relevant, but it's hard to imagine the latter matters much here - if you've stuck your big minions, you're probably winning anyway.
So, it's quite possible that getting around taunts will be a reasonable finisher for aggro (a la Leeroy Jenkins), but won't cause a wildly broken, degenerate metagame where you're just getting slammed for tons and tons of burst damage because your taunts have been "deactivated."
I really like this card because while the effect is strong, it isn't anything so unique that you would need to craft to play a certain deck. It is strong, but not mandatory. You could justify playing it in any deck, or no deck.
