As nice as it is to see all these changes people have been wanting for awhile, it is kind of obvious they’re using this as a chance to sneak a few things by for their benefit without us complaining as much (Whizbang not becoming standard and the battlegrounds monetizations mainly).

At least the good looks like it’ll outweigh the bad

that's just great, no questions asked.

The only thing that might be a problem is getting enough spells for a Shaman deck (or at least some spelll generation). Other than that this is very flexible removal

At least kalista is counter able you can kill her before she levels up.. played lucian quite a bit he is very hard to level up without senna..

thing is, Blizzard actually improve over time, Riot has been around for 10 years and they haven't llearned a thing and only gotten worse at it.

Did Blizzard not immediately deal with Galakrond Shaman when it became too strong? Did they not do multiple balance patches in the last year that ultimately ended up with a meta that's actually quite balanced (if you ignore SHaman being dumpster tier)

The thing about Hearthstone balance changes is that they actually do their job. If a card is OP a balance change will fix it..and if it's still a problem later they'll just do it again.

Say what you want about Baku & Genn, but they were addressed when it was needed and nobody can tell me that playing against Holy Wrath Paladin with a 2-mana Equality would have been fun.

Lets call this mechanic 'reverse overload'.

Don’t forget about the priest cards that are being moved to the hall of fame as well.

At the moment I’m looking at 6060 dust in total (was lucky enough to open a golden Velen ages ago). Just taking this chance to craft a few more of the cards I’m missing since I might as well get as much dust as I can. Just missing two epics and 5 rares now

Well I have a minor degree in Nerglish from listening to murlocs so much, and I think he just says random stuff? But not really sure since all murlocs say random stuff actually meaning other stuff. Doesn't help that Finley is literally the only murloc that speaks a comprehendible language

Now every rogue secret can be a targeted Freezing Trap too. I was wondering whether there would be a serious push for rogues to play secrets this time around, and it looks like there is.

So secrets will return for Rogue!

2 mana deal 8... Well I suppose it is sometimes relevant. At least it is spell synergies now instead of battlecries for shaman now.

So basically a 3-mana Sap with an upside.

The secret we've already seen is already more than playable so this will be a natural fit. Gonna be really hard to play for tempo against Rogue now.

Can also be used on your own minions in emergencies

I am. With the new duplicate protection collecting a full set will require significantly fewer packs.

I have 7000+ gold saved so I'll get thd smaller prepurchase and this and still open 100 or so packs.

Card just keep streaming down.

Really interesting where they're trying to push shaman. Its a bit slow, so you've got to expect a big minion play and play a spell prior so you get the mana cost reduction.

But 5 mana remove a minion is still decent I guess.
