Like sure, a 4-mana Nether sounds crazy....except cheap boardclears should usually matter early game...which this doesn't. It's a dead card against most aggro or zoo decks because they rarely play anything above 4-attack outside of the rare sea giant or Edwin....at which point it's just an overpriced SW:D
Where it shines is in the late to mid game where it acts as a cheap removal that allows you to either build a board afterwards, or keep your own if it's small enough.
I'M also pretty sure they have some sort of plan for Demon Hunters that makes them not totally useless. If you really break it down, only a small fraction of class cards is actually useful overall...if they just don't print obvious garbage for Demon Hunter they'll be just as viable as any other class...only seemingly less diverse.
1. Playable in wild since there are tonnes of neutral options to use in the class
2.Nah it's not too crazy the 4 mana spell is the secondary effect of the priest deathknight which proved to be ok in balance, sure it costs 4 less but you can play around it, and most minions don't have more than 3 attack.
I think those are good news.. Priest is in a bad state constantly only really played when a broken combo comes around.. the new/reworked cards barely are playable in ress priest so they open up the class for being a better control class.. and they solidified the class in being able to remove 5 or more attack minions easily with the rework as well as having a lot of health buffs to abuse the hero power, the 2 mana 2/3 is amazing and is something priest was looking for forever a good 2 drop but with northshire and inner fire in the game such card would be busted..
I hope rogue never gets a taunt minion. It's the class of slipping in and out of the shadows and using subtle, underhanded tactics: you're doing something wrong as a rogue if you're drawing your foe's attention. Even the pirate side of the class wants to get away with the loot, not stand there waiting to get attacked.
1. A new class doesn`t make sense for me, because it will be only playable in Standard and will be useless for Wild, which would be really dumb imo. "New classes" should imo only be like the old death knights heroes.
2. The buffs to priest are looking waaaay too strong imo. Especially the 4 mana boardclear is absolutely nuts!
I hope, this is an out of season april joke... otherwise this will be the worst news for HS in its history so far. :(
I believe Demon Hunter is for this expansion only. You can play Huňter cards with Demon hunter but cannot play Demon Hunter cards with Hunter. No hunter in this expansion. beware - speculation only.
Looks like you were spot on with only one new class. This does open the door for more in the future however, and I would not be surprised to see the DK and Monk in future expansions.

Well, the best part is we don't have to wait very long for the official confirmation. Reminder that they're livestreaming tomorrow! (At 3 PM UTC, pretty sure). If this is legit, I'm pretty excited, but I still need to see how they're gonna improve the F2P experience.
yeah, let'S nerf Black Spear, one of the few means of actually killing an early game threat before it spirals out of control, but keep 99% of early game threats completely intact.
I don't even care about Hecarim or Rekindler, at least those actuallyl pretend to play the game instead of dropping an unkillable unit on turn 2 and I just have to go "didn't topdeck my answer, time to surrender lol"
I am so glad that I save my classics pack that I get from the brawls all year to open them at the start of the new year because I have 71 classic packs just waiting to be opened to get these new cards!!!!!!!
but it's not though. YOu can#t reace elusives because they are free to value trade into your stuff while you can't do the same. If Elusives couldn't block as a default they wouldn't nearly be as much of a problem, but right now the only way to beat them is hard aggro or super control. Midrange decks just get stomped because they just don't have a counter...and we're talking about a game where unit combat and clever trading is the main focus.
I'm sorry, but I'm still not over LoL and how that game was in a constant state of things being broken with no real progress being made and I hate to repeat that experience.

Less than a day people. Can't wait for that announcement.
And if the information about the priest in this article is true - then I guess divine spirit is going to get the HoF hammer for sure.

Old memes never die huh?
I think the UI will be heavely revamped the game currently has a lot of visual elements for 9 classes but now we will have 10..
Custom Class - Time Traveler (Updated February 17th - Return to Naxxramas added!)
The new Demon Hunter Outcast mechanic kinda throws a bit of a wrench at this.

Outcast would fit as the DH mechanic. Illidan is practically the embodiment of an outcast.

The Priest boardclear is actually somewhat weak.

It's not fake it's just a failed embargo..

[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
Nope.
I've been thinking of a clue that will not give too much away: they BARK the same.

Cries in DK as well

i hate this to be a leak though! I would have loved to watch a 2h anouncment stream or at least some professional teasing
Ashes of Outland is Hearthstone's Next Expansion - New Demon Hunter Class, Priest Getting Overhaul, See the Demon Hunter Cards
they most certainly wouldn't retroactively print cards for entire wild sets.
Will probably make DH weaker than other classes since they'll have the least amount of cards at the start of every rotation

This almost sounds like an April Fool's joke...or one of those fake reddit leaks that just tell people what they wish would happen.
Good on them though, revamping Priest was more than necessary.
Also, with a new class coming I DEMAND AT LEAST TWO MORE DECKSLOTS OR CONFUSION WILL GET THE BEST OF ME!

I think Outcast means: most left or most right card in your hand.

I think DH is here to stay. Probably adding their own Classic/Basic set, and they'll be included in all future sets. Most likely forgoing past sets.
