2019: priest being low tier

2020: priest staying in low tier

My two favorites are definitely Ionia and Pilltover & Zaun. My favorite deck during the preview patches was a spell based deck with Karma and/or Heimerdinger and/or Ezreal. There were so many directions you could go while playing that deck. Sometimes I'd go crazy with heimerdinger and create an endless army of turrets, sometimes Ezreal would upgrade and burst the opponent to death, sometimes Karma would go crazy and provide tons of value, and often a combination of those champions would work great together and do the trick.

My favorite moment playing the deck was when I created an insane amount of value thanks to Karma, but my opponent was still able to keep up and it was a very tense game. However, I was able to get and activate a Purrsuit of Perfection with a leveled up Karma on the board, creating two Cataclysms which were of course quite difficult for my opponent to deal with. I even remember seeing that card for the first time the day before and thinking "wow that's really cool but it's probably going to take a while before I see that happening". I was very happen to be proven wrong about that.

2020 expectations: Pushing the most types of decks possible

In 2019, I was very happy when the tavern brawl down time was reduced to 1 hour (instead of 2 days)

For 2020, I'm really looking forward on the addition of dragons to battlegrounds !

Favorite moment of 2019:  When Togwaggle revealed that the League of Explorers were coming back. That music just gets me every time.

What I look forward to in 2020:  Blizzard finally breaking down and selling past bundle skins in the shop like Mecha-Jaraxxus. I have been waiting to buy him for an eternity.

• The one Hearthstone thing you are looking forward to most in 2020. - a new year with 3 new expansions! 

So the EVIL half of the first chapter is free, but would we still have to pay 700 gold for the League of Explorers half? Or would we only have to pay 350 for the League half?

If we get one half for free but then get charged double for the other half then it doesn't really sound like we are getting this for free. But I am not sure if we will still have to pay full price for half of the wing.

2020 - i want some kind of "pauper mode" like mtg 

(With the open beta less than a week away, I thought I'd try to revive the thread)

I want to play cards from the Shadow Isles and Demacia the most. I like to build large armies and win with my minions, and these regions speak to that the most it seems. Champion-wise I'm looking at Elise for spider decks, and Fiora for...well, for a Fiora deck heh. They don't really go together, though.

Edit: I also love to control stuff, so I'm thinking of combining Fiora with Ashe. Still waiting for one of my favorite champions - Lissandra - to make an appearance!

When I hit Legend for the first time!

Yup, I figured it would be pretty easy.

I think the arena format was Blizzards take on draft.

But I would like to see something like arena where you can draft with maybe 10 card packs and keep the cards you drafted, and maybe even draft with other real people. That would be pretty amazing.

Favorite Moment Of 2019: The introduction of Battlegrounds, we've waited so long for an additional format and when ranked gameplay has become stale it was a very welcomed alternative.

Hoping for 2020: I'd like to see another year long story with the expansions. And maybe, just maybe they'll actually try to steer the classes into what their supposed identities are supposed to be since so far it's been neglected.

My favourite Hearthstone moment in 2019 was the release of Battleground and for 2020 i'm looking forward for a chaepest meta and for a cheapest game in general (not three expansion and three adventure per year).

For 2019, I'd say the addition of Battlegrounds was the best HS moment of 2019.

For 2020, I'm waiting for just one thing, that being the time when Shudderwock rotates out. Gosh, that card is just ridiculously strong. 

Last Year - Seeing what's going on with Rafaam and friends.

This year - Really looking forward to what they plan on doing with expansion's after this years' story. Are they going to be related thematically or anything, probably not but it'd be cool.

In 2020 I'm looking forward to the meta change coming with the set rotation.
