I appreciate that the classes now have 3 cards in the adventures, but only 2 classes get legendarys?
I guess Mage and Shaman really needed it?
are these cards worth $20?
I expect Reno and the Fist of Ra-Den were just cards they really wanted to make, and since they are no harder to obtain than commons they could mix up rarities across classes without it making any meaningful inequality. I.e. the strength of the cards matters far more than the colour of the gem.
Personally I'm more interested in how they distributed the other rarities, which I imagine was primarily to guide how frequently they appear in the Arena.
-----------------------------------------------------------
As for whether they are worth $20, that depends on lots of things: how good they end up being (currently we can only guess for most of them); how likely you are to make use of the weaker ones; how much expendable income you have to spend on it; and how much you enjoy the adventure itself.
I tick enough boxes to know it will be worth it for me, but I cannot really answer for you.
Do i understand this right that we need to buy 7 chapters instead of 4? seems overpriced if it is so ;[
you could buy the explorer and evil sides for 700 gold in the second, third and fourth chapter. the full adventure cost 2800 gold.
Where do you get 2800 gold from? Each chapter cost 700 gold, there are 8 chapters, we get one free, so we have to pay for 7. 7 chapters x 700 gold is 4900. Is there a bundle? If so, I can't find it ...

There are only four chapters, each with two "halves."
thanks, i thought that could be the case, but nice to have confirmation.
when will it release
btw. i think it's very cool, that they didn't release the cards until now. :)
that's exiting.
So the EVIL half of the first chapter is free, but would we still have to pay 700 gold for the League of Explorers half? Or would we only have to pay 350 for the League half?
If we get one half for free but then get charged double for the other half then it doesn't really sound like we are getting this for free. But I am not sure if we will still have to pay full price for half of the wing.
Sadly enough, you'll have to buy the 2nd half of the 1st chapter for 700 gold/$6.99.
But on the other hand, that "half" wing will contain almost as much cards as any other "complete" wing (7 vs 8)
So all the cards will be playable in standard/wild ladder and only possibility is to buy the expansion (gold/money)?
That's how all of the old adventure's worked before Knights of the Frozen Throne, I believe this will be the same.
Golden cards can also only be gained by crafting them, which can only be done after earning the cards from the adventure.
And as far as I'm aware, and if I remember correctly from the old adventures, you can't craft the cards unless they rotate into wild or you've already earned them from the adventure (which allows you to dust them if you wish. The ability to craft them again is only in case you dusted them to begin with)
I will be living the The Amazing Reno + Yogg Box lifestyle forever now...
Might as well thrown in the Quest, for when Reno is at the bottom of your deck :D
