Another great mage card. Dealing 2 damage for 1 mana is good, and discovering another spell is just great. This card has also some nice synergies with cards like Mana Giant or Raid the Sky Temple.
You don't take any damage from casting this (unlike swinging a weapon), but getting a meager one hit of Supercollider for 3 mana is a tough sell, and Warrior already has a lot of viable 3 drop options.
It doesn't take a lot of overload to make this a 1 mana 2/3 often enough to get tons of early game value out of it. If aggro shaman continues to be good in the meta, this will be a centerpiece of the deck.
Maybe too fair for standard, but +2 spell damage on a body that's likely to stick around for a turn or two is very powerful for Shaman, and this curves nicely into Lightning Storm or Lightning Breath on turn 5 to clean up the enemy board.
I'm not saying Rummaging Kobold doesn't have a purpose, but its so much worse in terms of stats and efficiency overall that even in the narrow cases you might play Kobold you wouldn't, where even if its not getting the full value (ie battlecry) of a weapon you might still play Hoard Pillager, and in a bunch of other different cases Hoard Pillager is soooooo much better its sad.
Nowhere near the best Galakrond, but between Corrupt Elementalist for easy upgrades, Kronx Dragonhoof for frequent access, and Shudderwock for extra 8/8 rushers and devastations, this could easily see a lot of play.
Sameeee. They haven't released anything like that this year and it would have been perfect. I guess they don't want cards to low-roll like Dragonqueen Alexstrasza or any of the explorer dragons.
Resource generation is nothing to scoff at, especially in an aggressive deck that needs to keep up the momentum. Pairs well with Skybarge, obviously, and could be amusing to pull some Rogue Pirates off this.
The mechanic of this card is really interesting. While the power level of this card is not very strong (Flame Lance didn't see much competetive play), it might see play in Highlander Mage.
New Mage Spell - Arcane Breath
Another great mage card. Dealing 2 damage for 1 mana is good, and discovering another spell is just great. This card has also some nice synergies with cards like Mana Giant or Raid the Sky Temple.
New Warrior Spell - Ramming Speed
You don't take any damage from casting this (unlike swinging a weapon), but getting a meager one hit of Supercollider for 3 mana is a tough sell, and Warrior already has a lot of viable 3 drop options.
New Neutral Minion - Blazing Battlemage
Enchanted Raven but for everyone. Do they want it, though; that is the question. No tribal synergy can be majorly off-putting for some classes.
New Shaman Minion - Surging Tempest
It doesn't take a lot of overload to make this a 1 mana 2/3 often enough to get tons of early game value out of it. If aggro shaman continues to be good in the meta, this will be a centerpiece of the deck.
Treenforcements
2/2 for 1 mana and sometime it can save you face or can snipe frustrating minion from enemy side of board
New Shaman Minion - Squallhunter
Maybe too fair for standard, but +2 spell damage on a body that's likely to stick around for a turn or two is very powerful for Shaman, and this curves nicely into Lightning Storm or Lightning Breath on turn 5 to clean up the enemy board.
Breath of Dreams
unnerfed wild growth for dragon
New Neutral Minion - Hoard Pillager
I very much agree. There's no reason to run the Kobold anymore, unless for some reason you need a weapon's Battlecry
Aeroponics
drawing 2 card for agro strategy and most of time it free or 1 mana and arcane intellect see play at 3 mana
New Mage Minion - Dragoncaster
Mana cheating is always dangerous. Casting Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron or Power of Creation on turn 6 is insane value, and casting a Flamestrike on turn 6 while droping a 4/4 is also a strong play.
New Shaman Spell - Storm's Wrath
Good with a wide board, good with Vessina - should be able to see play in an aggro shaman deck.
New Neutral Minion - Hoard Pillager
I'm not saying Rummaging Kobold doesn't have a purpose, but its so much worse in terms of stats and efficiency overall that even in the narrow cases you might play Kobold you wouldn't, where even if its not getting the full value (ie battlecry) of a weapon you might still play Hoard Pillager, and in a bunch of other different cases Hoard Pillager is soooooo much better its sad.
New Druid Spell - Aeroponics
It only takes one to make this an Arcane Intellect, and it's not like that card is useless. If Treant Druid works, this will be in it for sure.
New Shaman Spell - Dragon's Pack
If you've invoked twice (easy with Corrupt Elementalist), you get 2x the vanilla stats for 5 mana. Seems like a slam dunk.
Grave Rune
Carnivorous Cube minus the deathrattle trigger. I don't think it's good. Priest didn't use a lot Cube back then.
New Druid Minion - Shrubadier
Seems like a new staple for Token and/or Treant Druid; a card that fits more than one archetype well can't be that bad.
New Shaman Hero - Galakrond, the Tempest
Nowhere near the best Galakrond, but between Corrupt Elementalist for easy upgrades, Kronx Dragonhoof for frequent access, and Shudderwock for extra 8/8 rushers and devastations, this could easily see a lot of play.
Disciple of Galakrond
Great invoke card but Galakrond is meh.
New Mage Minion - Violet Spellwing
Shimmerfly with guaranteed missiles..
Descent of Dragons
Sameeee. They haven't released anything like that this year and it would have been perfect. I guess they don't want cards to low-roll like Dragonqueen Alexstrasza or any of the explorer dragons.
Embiggen
buffing deck is deck if you remember Keleseth it can be winning move in starting turn
for extra 1 mana pay for you minion you make it 2 mana extra stat so it can be really crazy
Amber Watcher
Nice, Pal gonna be great this expansion
New Warrior Minion - Sky Raider
Resource generation is nothing to scoff at, especially in an aggressive deck that needs to keep up the momentum. Pairs well with Skybarge, obviously, and could be amusing to pull some Rogue Pirates off this.
New Mage Spell - Rolling Fireball
The mechanic of this card is really interesting. While the power level of this card is not very strong (Flame Lance didn't see much competetive play), it might see play in Highlander Mage.
New Neutral Minion - Parachute Brigand
It's not Patches. Useless on later turns and you wont have anything to play on early turns unless you have a lot of draw cards.
