This card is strong but I don't think it's OP. You probably wait to drop it until you can combo it with hero power (no, Galakrond, the Wretched, not yours) or some self-damaging card as it doesn't affect the board. But if it sticks, your opponent will have a really hard time...
To get the battlecry, you either have to be overloaded from the previous turn or you have to play an overload card this turn. So unless you have exactly Zap! in your hand (and a target for it), this comes on turn 6 at the soonest. I'd put it at roughly the same power level as Fire Elemental: slightly better when you can activate it, but more difficult to play.
Just crazy. This could find a spot in most Shaman decks with some overload cards.
I'm getting worried this expansion will be too overpowered and everyone will hate it during the next cycle, like K&C but even worse. But at least all those OP cards looks FUN!
I disagree with the analysis of Ancharrr. 2/3 is pretty good stats for a 3 cost weapon and the effect is premium quality. I mean, compare it to Livewire Lance, which costs one more, has 1 less Durability and pulls arguably worse minions.
The trade for that is of course that you need to build a Pirate deck, which might not be easy in Standard right now. However, I'm quite sure Warrior will get new Pirates soon, otherwise this card wouldn't have been printed.
And even if that doesn't happen, this card will obviously be used in Wild, at the very least.
True. Quest Shaman really only runs 2 overload cards, which are the Underbelly Anglers. Looks like unless they include more overload cards, Quest Shamans will have to be rather strategic in how they play their cards. Lackey could also discover overload spells.
However, I think dealing 20 damage is a bit busted, and not to mention it can be tutored with Sandbinder.
Good lord, the power levels for this expansion are insane. 4/12 minions usually cost 9 mana, so having this at 8 means you can drop this and hero power on turn 10 for a massive play. Great card for slower Warlock decks.
It's not a hard immunity like Mal'Ganis: if your opponent can find a one-turn lethal or deals a lot of damage in a single burst, you can still be hit in the face. But if you're not close to dying, this minion indeed needs to be dealt with.
Cumulo-Maximus would be pretty good in wild even shaman with the overload package. The warlock dragon seems pretty slow but can be very good if it sticks
It has interesting value as a Control Warlock finisher, but it means that you have to be at a place where you are fine with damaging your hero and also have a way to easily proc his effect. There is the obvious turn 10 play this and tap, but I think that might be too slow for something that does not immediately impact that board with taunt or rush. If there meta shifts toward a lot of late-game decks, this seems really good. Otherwise, I'm not sure it's guaranteed a spot in decklists.
Reminds me of Blazecaller which was a great card. 2 less mana, - 1/1 in stats and a more managable condition for the battlecry. This card is very powerful.
Dude. With those cheap 0 mana overload spells... Let's kill something, kill something else, summon a totem, deal 10 damage face then mutate because why not. Yiikes.
This card spooks me so fking much. Quest Shaman already felt like it had a decent amount of burst, but I think this might push it over the top. There are so many cheap ways to overload mana that this seems extremely easy to proc. Even without the 10 damage from the completed quest, something like a turn 5 Zap into this or a turn 6 Sludge Slurper into this is extremely efficient at contesting the board.
So it does noyhing the turn it enters play. The tokens won't save you when they hit your face. This card needs some help to be somewhat good. There is this 3/5 warlock vulture with the same mechanic that I saw in play for only one week before disappearing. Unless they release some real self damaging support, it's bad imho, like Ysera bad. Even if Ysera is actually good. I love you Ysera.

I really like the art for Warlock dragons!

It's not like the overload card you played did nothing and also you can play this with Zap!
New Neutral Minion - Dread Raven
Good stats but the effect will be hard to pull off. Maybe priest or rouge will find a way to spam the board with these.

I think we are forgetting that 2x can be run with no additional effort in a deck. No need for setup.
Surely, playing both in a sequence is still unlikely but look at this:
- turn-3: i play a Dread Raven
- at this point the opponent is forced to remove it (soft taunt), because of the risk of facing a 12/8 on next turn, turn-4.
Not to mention Dire Frenzy or similar efficient cloners. Or, as others said, the bare fact that a 3-3/4 Beast is still a nice play.
This card may not be OP, it might be just a Beast deck stuff, but this is by far NOT a meme.
It's like, if a card has OTK potential, then it is only valued in OTK terms, and the rest is overlooked...
This card has no direct downside, not even Tempo loss.
Zzeraku the Warped

Definitely a nice value card for highlander decks.

Edit: Yes i'm stupid, it is 5 mana lul

Powerful tempo swing / finisher
New Shaman Minion - Cumulo-Maximus
Like it. Love the name. Of course OP next to all the other dragons cards, this expension is so bloody strong.
New Warlock Minion - Zzeraku the Warped
Midrange Dragon Warlock stuff.
It fits Even, but not good enough for Wild.
Art is nice but not legendary enough for a Dragon Aspect (Netherwing).
