I don’t know whether hunter will actually play this card but there is no doubt that Veranus is a good card. Let’s see how many ping effects hunter has access to. Spring Paw + its friend, Unleash The Hounds, Rapid Fire + Second Rapid Fire, Desert Spear, Explosive Trap, Swarm of Locust. This is a lot of cards and look at that. Highlander Hunter already runs most of these. Also Zephrys will probably give you Arcane Explosion after you play Veranus. So for 10 mana you destroy your opponent board and get a 3/2 and a 7/6. We shall see what to come but Veranus is definitly exciting.
I don't get how the average rating for this is so high. I'm not saying the card is bad for what it does, but what it does is so very specific you can't just play it in every deck. In fact you can't just play it in any old meta. Its super specific, and unlike a card like Harrison Jones, which can be combo'd with a card like Weapons Project or Plague of Madness this card can't, and has a worse base statline. Yes, it finally solves that Kingsbane problem in wild, but that doesn't make this TECH card a nearly 4 star card.
What kingsbane problem in wild? Kingsbane is long dead since the nerf of leeching poison.
You would have to play it in a galakrond deck, but galakrond himself does not give you a big benefit with his battlecry in the type of deck this would go in, so you would either run galakrond anyway or not play it at all and include galakrond invokers in your deck just for this card to activate (that is, IF it counts without galakrond himself in the deck)
In short: good in galakrond decks, but gets screwed by galakrond himself

Emerald Explorer
The stats of this guy are insane! This would be cool even in a not-dragon druid.
Breath of Dreams
Remember that Wild Growth was nerfed to 3 mana? This should be enough to understand how powerful this card is.
Secure the Deck
I don't like this card very much, the only use I can think of is with [Hearthstone Card (Gonk, the Raptor) Not Found]

I better start to like this card. I always draw most epic fillers more often than thrice while never getting the must haves.

3 mana fireball + arcane intellect (in a dumb comparison)
Its good, especially in wild with pirate warrior.

New Neutral Minion - Transmogrifier
This card is a meme card and will not see play in standard. Good Arena card though!
New Priest Spell - Breath of the Infinite
Probably one of the weaker "Breath" cards, but still strong enough to be played in Dragon Priest.
New Warrior Weapon - Ancharrr
Maybe the Invoke cards for Warrior are Pirates, that would make this card a staple.
Zul'Drak Ritualist
4 mana battlecry: I guess I'll die
This card is bad. Its only good at disrupting Priest in wild.
Wont see play for sure.

I can see a whole new Hunter archetype coming, revolving around this card. It seems a sleeper card to me

Now THIS is a good card, in comparison to Umbral Skulker.
It fits right in the galakrond deck its intended for. Now we just need to see some good invokers for warlock and we are set
