Great with oaken summons in wild, potentially better than Hecklebot. It's also a better tech card for big priest than, for example, Flight Master, since it's a good-statted taunt minion as well so it's not bad on its own. I don't believe there are any 1-drops to worry about, but still I'm not sure if there is any good reason to play this in standard.
Pretty minor point but it'd be nice if after the victory/defeat screen you'd have another second or so with your lineup unblurred for screenshots and gloating.
I just 'accidentally' won a game because the number 2 got knocked out by a ghost while I was fighting #3 and lost the opportunity to tally up my swole amalgams' stats. D:
Aside from summoning 3 1 drop minions, it provides a strong attack and body that'll eat them up which can combo with a Frothing Berserker, or even using the 1 drops to pollute a rez priests pool.
now if we get a new 1 drop POISONOUS minion than yeah this card's usability drops a bit
Ideal candidate to be resurrected by Psychopomp, if you can take three 1 drops from your opponent. If anything, this might be a tech card against resurrect control priest that may surface in the next expansion.
Can be used to cheat out Sea Giant for massive tempo swing, or put out another taunt with Rabble Bouncer. Given that zoolock mostly have better stated minions to value trade with, this might find a place there along with sea giant.
Too bad that hearthstone history suggests that cards that give your opponent something is generally not good.
Finally a solid neutral(!) tech card against resurrection strategies. What's nice is that this can be pretty easily played alongside a small AoE to immediately clear the spawned minions.
I'm surprised so many people don't think this card is good anti-Res tech. The body is much better than Flight Master and it summons 3 minions instead of 1 so a much better chance of diluting the Res pool. It's also a lot cheaper than Mad Summoner. Given that all the summons are 1-drops, any board clear that does 2 or more dmg is likely to wipe out the lot, so it's a quick play for maybe 6/7 mana in total that will almost certainly leave you with a good body afterwards - especially in Priest mirrors given that health line is a prime target for Divine Spirit + Inner Fire afterwards.
Will this be meta-defining? No. But I expect we'll see it played probably at/slightly below the frequency we saw other deck-specific tech cards like Skulking Geist
If you can avoid the battlecry, or buff the hell out of it, Zul'Drak Ritualist is insane. It's also good as a counter to Priest resurrection strategies. Not sure it has a home in standard, though.
Now comes the question... tutor Galakrond or devastate the board? Which is more worth it?
And then comes the other question... why even lament over this? Just bounce him a couple of times or shuffle 14 of him into your deck with Togwaggle’s Scheme and devastate all over your opponent’s grave
It's a good removal to combo with Unleash the Hounds. But i don't think hunters need that at the moment, because i think the face hunter meta will rise again in this new meta.
This + Explosive trap is more what I was thinking. Unleash would be for the face. =
oh yeah this could work much better. But i don't like to let the initiative for te opponent, feels kinda bad

Looks like this got implemented. Sweet!

I don't think this card's bad at all.

I think, that could backfire way to hard.
Are there poisonous 1 drops at the moment?

I played Cornered Sentry in my warrior list to counter ressurection effects so what you said is not exactly true...

1 drop eot effect with ok stats probably will see play

Zul'Drak Ritualist
Well it messes up opponent res pool also especially good if you are going to AOE right after playing it. But other than that mediocre.
Zul'Drak Ritualist
At first sight it doesn't seem that it'll see any play. Maybe to dilute the resurrect pool for priest.
New Neutral Minion - Camouflaged Dirigible
It might see some play in a meme decks dont think it will have a huge effect unless there are really broken mechs in this set
New Card Reveal - Zul'Drak Ritualist
Jade druid will have a 3ed choice against aggro
New Neutral Minion - Kronx Dragonhoof
Pretty much you have to craft this if you want to survive in standard next 3 months

Right into Gonk OTK! It will move up several tiers, to at least tier 6.

although mostly 1-drops dont have more than 2 damage, this card is bad anyway, it's never good give your opponents minions.

Guess this is anti rez tech for Wild? I don'T see this being used in standard in any capacity

I'm happy they keep printing weird tech cards like this.
Ressurect is just such a BS mechanic.
