Powerful effect but I'm unsure about the hero power—infinite value less but some priest minions are just meh. In wild there's Shadow Anduin already and enough removals to not need the extra removals
This is a strong board clear AND threat for "only" 8 mana. Dragon Control Warrior might not become a thing, but this card can fit multiple archetypes from Control to Tempo. I'm almost convinced this card will definitely see play!
It's only good in tempo Warrior when you are behind though, as it will attack your OWN minions as well. I think for that case you could consider comparing this version to the classic Deathwing card. You are saving 2 mana and your hand for a full health 12/12, and in Tempo your hand in often empty anyway. For that reason I think this card is probably better suited for control decks.
I'm sure they tested it, but at first glace this card seems very underpowered. Low stats means that the +2 Spell damage isn't that abuseable. Discovering Dragons is nice, but seeing we're getting a lot of new ones in this expansion, this card probably won't see play.
This is an epic looking card, but giving your opponent the first chance to abuse the mana increase never turned out so well in previous cards with similar effects. But this does give a much needed boost (/sarcasm) to to evolve pool that Shamans need xd
The removal effect seems nice and all but other then a pure strategy gameplan I don't think this is a good card. I rate it 1 star! Maybe some more Priest minions come around that are good on their own, but random never seems to do well.
Honestly, this just a prime example of bad design.
It's basically Astral Communion but better, which makes me wonder why it's a Paladin card in the first place. Call to Adventure means you can consistently tutor this for turn 4 and if your opponent can't make use of their 10 mana immediately they're gonna get destroyed by you spamming big things over and over.
Not to mention, Paladin, unlike Druid, actually has a fair bit of removal options.
Some users mentioned Tempo Rogue, but could it be that there will be some kind of Dragon finisher? Waxxadred seems decent as well, but 0 cost cards can be strong combined together. Surely there are lackeys, but perhaps a version with Dragon will also come to be. Seems pretty cool tbh
New Warlock Minion - Dragonblight Cultist
it's probably not as bad as it looks if you build a deck around abusing the invoked Hero power.
Still poopy in a meta where Lackeys run amok
Galakrond, the Nightmare
Good for tempo and some shenanigans combo with shuffling cards into deck with banker.
Zephrys the Great
Noob mistake, flare was always countered by counterspell, but against other classes other than mage, good card to search.
Galakrond, the Unspeakable
Powerful effect but I'm unsure about the hero power—infinite value less but some priest minions are just meh. In wild there's Shadow Anduin already and enough removals to not need the extra removals
New Warrior Minion - Deathwing, Mad Aspect
It's only good in tempo Warrior when you are behind though, as it will attack your OWN minions as well. I think for that case you could consider comparing this version to the classic Deathwing card. You are saving 2 mana and your hand for a full health 12/12, and in Tempo your hand in often empty anyway. For that reason I think this card is probably better suited for control decks.
Envoy of Lazul
This will be completely useless in arena, but in ladder, when the metas are settled, can be useful. Then again, will the cards be useful for priest?
New Rogue Spell - Praise Galakrond!
Rogue has made good use of worse things. Probably will be good enough to work.
Galakrond, the Wretched
Random demons can range form absolute bad to multiple big boys—if invoke cards are aggressive enough then there's a possible chance to put this in zoo
New Mage Minion - Azure Explorer
I'm sure they tested it, but at first glace this card seems very underpowered. Low stats means that the +2 Spell damage isn't that abuseable. Discovering Dragons is nice, but seeing we're getting a lot of new ones in this expansion, this card probably won't see play.
New Rogue Spell - Dragon's Hoard
Better than Pilfer and that's just about it. Will run it to make Underbelly fence and Vendetta more consistent.
New Rogue Spell - Seal Fate
Will have to do if Galakrond Rogue is to succeed.
Probably gonna hhave to hard mulligan for Togwaggle since you generate so many lackeys
New Paladin Minion - Nozdormu the Timeless
This is an epic looking card, but giving your opponent the first chance to abuse the mana increase never turned out so well in previous cards with similar effects. But this does give a much needed boost (/sarcasm) to to evolve pool that Shamans need xd
New Rogue Minion - Umbral Skulker
Rogue likes coins.
Auctioneer likes coins.
Questing Adventurer likes coins
Edwin likes coins.
There's a lot you can do with 3 of them.
Shu'ma
I'm not sure about this card, good for token but too expensive. At turn 7 it's relatively easy to deal with 11's. Still, let's see.
New Priest Spell - Time Rip
significantly less exciting when Forbidden Words also exists.
I remember when Priests couldn't get rid of 4-attack minions easily
Breath of Dreams
Draw and mana gain, in druid, this is just bonkers!
Hello again ramp druid :)
New Paladin Spell - Sand Breath
Have small statbuffs like this ever even seen play? If you don't get at least +2/+2 with an additional upside it's usually not worth it.
New Priest Hero - Galakrond, the Unspeakable
The removal effect seems nice and all but other then a pure strategy gameplan I don't think this is a good card. I rate it 1 star! Maybe some more Priest minions come around that are good on their own, but random never seems to do well.
Ysera, Unleashed
I think it is a good card, will have to wait for the rest of the dragons in standard, but in wild, WOW!
New Paladin Minion - Nozdormu the Timeless
Honestly, this just a prime example of bad design.
It's basically Astral Communion but better, which makes me wonder why it's a Paladin card in the first place. Call to Adventure means you can consistently tutor this for turn 4 and if your opponent can't make use of their 10 mana immediately they're gonna get destroyed by you spamming big things over and over.
Not to mention, Paladin, unlike Druid, actually has a fair bit of removal options.
There'S a reason why ramp is a Druid only thing.
New Paladin Minion - Nozdormu the Timeless
Not sure how to evaluate this card. Looks good but also gives the other player a huge advantage.
New Rogue Hero - Galakrond, the Nightmare
Some users mentioned Tempo Rogue, but could it be that there will be some kind of Dragon finisher? Waxxadred seems decent as well, but 0 cost cards can be strong combined together. Surely there are lackeys, but perhaps a version with Dragon will also come to be. Seems pretty cool tbh
Draconic Lackey
imo its one of the best lackeys tbh, if you play control and you dont need imidiate response on board from your lackey, its the highest power level
Toxic Reinforcements
Very aggressive, face hunter for the win!
New Priest Hero - Galakrond, the Unspeakable
Not the best Galakrond but a good board clear for 7 mana.
