Yep, on LoR games are indeed longer than on HS. It's the price to pay for being able to act during the opponent's turn, but I consider LoR as good "middle point" between HS and MtG.
That makes sense but after the Oko ban and the Once Upon a Time ban is green still powerful enough to warrant this ban? It just seems like the weakest of the three cards, again I really haven't been paying attention to Standard, more of a Modern player. It seems powerful, but not broken from the outside looking in. I just hate seeing colors get completely invalidated by a ban.
Lots of cool ideas! I like most of them, particularly Priest’s one. (Shadowform always was a cool, but underpowered deck)
However, some burdens like the Warrior’s one is literally unplayable. That is way too much drawback for a mere +2 attack.
Yeah...the Warrior's Burden has gone up and down quite a few times, as I'm unsure as-to the balance of it. Without testing, I can only guess. I'll give it another look.
I already saved my decks here, didn't like mobalytics deckbuilder and so.
I hope outof.cards' deck pool will achieve what it deserves. :)
Ah and, If there will be a "My Runeterra Decks" like "my Hearthstone Decks" in our profile, it will be greatly appreciated because I need to go decks and search for cards to find my own decks right now. If there are more decks, it will be quite hard.

Will miss the game, sadly had no more time to play it today.. Had great time with it in both alpha phases looking forward to closed and open beta in 2020.. BTW expeditions have been great it's amazing to be able to draft more in the draft itself! And it contains 2 runs in 1 so you have more content from one (expensive though..) entry
The player that is on the attacking turn have an attack token (it's a glowing orange sword on the right of the board) that will be expended after declaring an attack with at last a minion. If you can refresh it after having already attacked, you get another chance to attack.
If you "ready your attack" when you're the defending player, you still get the chance to declare an attack.
What if they added to Snip-snap card text: "cannot cost less than 1?"
At that point I think I'd prefer they remove Sn1p-Sn4p altogether or give him a full remake. If time travel were possible I'd try to prevent them from releasing a card that has "abuse me" written all over it on a whim just for promotional purposes. It's not that that line of text wouldn't solve the immediate balance issues -it would- but it'd be terrible design. It'd be kind of like printing a terribly busted 0 cost card and then adding the line "if you play this on the same turn you win the game, you lose" just to prevent players from winning the game with it: just don't make the card so obviously busted and it doesn't need an ugly line of text to fix it.
How would we ensure the reverse for the competitive players? Keeping meme decks off the ladder.
"Oh well that's different because my meme deck doesn't have a high win-rate and it's more satisfying when I win versus your competitive deck."
But that could have been another competitive player that I beat instead of being the unfortunate soul that was the 10% chance of you pulling off your memory.
"Why can't they test decks on ladder?"
Why can't you keep your meme decks off ladder? It took me a long time to force myself to power through what I call "meme 15" because of all the memes and jank.
I play ladder to win and encounter ridiculous decks there and it's just uuuggghhh.
I might as well be playing casual so I switch to casual because I'm going to run into memes/jank anyway so what difference does it make?
I've found a sweet spot between 10-5 and I've made it to Wild R8 (I only play Wild) so far. I think it's only fair: if you want competitive decks out of casual, then keep your memes/jank out off the ladder.
What are you doing there? You HAD to have been playing at least semi-competitively to get there in the FIRST place, right?
As for TRUE casuals that strictly play casual, more power to you! I do have ONE deck I play in casual occasionally to blow off steam but it's not completely done. (Missing Velen)
Other than that, I'm on ladder 99% of the time I play. I understand your frustration and I think it's only fair you understand mine as well. Nothing feels worse than being proud of my plays just to lose because you happened to assemble all the pieces for your shenanigans.
Not being snarky; legit curious since I know everyone's local meta is different: what % (ballpark) do you really see meme decks on the ladder? Because while this is a totally fair point I agree with (that memes should stay in Casual AND meta stay on the ladder), if 40% of Casual is metadecks vs 5% of the ladder is memes (which is roughly my experience), then those problems are not really analogous, right? You go to the hospital to get your broken finger reset AND that bullet hole in your lung stitched up, but one of those is just a little more "problematic" than the other...
I also think you stating that you only play Wild is a factor there - I also play a lot of Wild and frankly there are just so many more "meme" decks that are ALSO really meta-competitive/good (any of the Mage OTKs, Mechathun Warlock, etc) so the line blurs there a lot more than Standard.

If you play any control deck you have to actually interact a lot during your opponent turn, so it feels much faster than an aggro when you mostly only drop minions. On HS control is often considered boring because you can just react to what your opponent has done instead of being able to disrupt his strategy in his own turn.

How does the relentless pursuit card work?
Ty, much apprecieted lightspoon

You've shattered my dream with just three words.
But I like the Derpcorn update on the header.
How does the relentless pursuit card work?
Not sure what this does tbh as I'm a little confused as to what "ready your attack" actually means
Will I keep my cards that I have unlocked during the preview?
They've recently stated that after the beta running during this day, they'll do a complete reset.
Here you can find the complete announcement.
Does warmothers call stack?
ty for the info, wasn't too sure :)

Does warmothers call stack?
Yes, it stacks: for each one you cast, you'll get an extra minion at the start of each turn.
Does warmothers call stack?
is there any point in casting twice?
Will I keep my cards that I have unlocked during the preview?
So just to clarify, once the closed beta starts we get to keep all of our progress?
