While Rogue’s Galakrond looks like it’ll be the best one pretty easily, you need to remember that you need to run Galakrond cards to get the full effect of your battlecry makes it a bit worse (I mean imagine drawing Praise Galakrond from it)
Same here. Re-rolling a 60 typically results in another 60g quest. As someone else who also runs alt accounts to generate additional 80g quests for my main account, this makes clearing dailies much easier, so I'm generally happy with the change.
However, while I've had a couple of 80g quests offered, I have yet to re-roll into a 80g quest. Just curious - has anyone here re-rolled a quest and got an 80g?
How are you rerolling 60g quests into more 60g quests? Blizzard specifically said in the 15.6 patch they were changing that:
Daily quests have also been split into two buckets: Easy (50g) and Slightly More Difficult (60g). Rerolling a Slightly More Difficult (60g) quest (like Play 10 Beasts) will always give you an Easy (50g) quest, so you can get Easy quest every day if you’d like.
Looking at these again (& reading your superb analysis on them) is a reminder that Rogue is probably gonna be disgustingly good if Galakrond is as good as I think it's going to be.
Translation of what WotC said: the bug that plagued mtg Arena since the start of this expansion has now been fixed and our servers are online again. We apologise for so much time with the servers down but you can now play the game again.
I don't know if it will be this version but I honestly think that a Vladimir/Braum or Vladimir/Braum/"Darius/Tryndamere" deck will be at least Tier 2 deck. I'm not an expert tho.
Wizard: "Finally, Veil of Summer is also playing an important role in preventing the metagame from being able to self-correct. Cards that played similar roles in the past, like Autumn's Veil and Display of Dominance, proved a lower power level than desired in their respective Standard environments, leaving green with a weaker option compared to the other "color hate" cards in those cycles. Veil of Summer is at the other end of the spectrum. It's too much more efficient than the other cards in its cycle, and by comparison to other tools available in Standard, gives green decks too much resilience against removal and disruption."
Against blue and black, it's not only essentially a counterspell, it also continues to protect you for the rest of the turn, draws you a card, and only costs 1 mana.
It's just been ridiculously good at shoring up whatever slight weaknesses green had left - Oko was broko, but Veil of Summer and Once Upon a Time were helping to enable the degenerate stuff the deck was doing.

Mostly 60g, some 50g which often seem to reroll into 60g, and I've gotten one 80g challenge on my main as well as an alt account since the change, and a few of the pack rewards for playing solo content.
Overall it's been very nice, especially since I have two alt accounts, so the "play 3" quests make it super easy to clear my quest queue for those.
Did anyone here watch the first weekend of the Hearthstone Global Games? I feel like the marketing, prize money, production value, attention given and tournament duration are all way under par for a tournament which could be the largest event in Hearthstone. I would have loved to root for my country all tournament, but now they're already knocked out after 3(!) games. The viewership was very low as well, probably because most people didn't even know it was going on or who were playing in it. What are your opinions on this tournament?
I knew they were on and I watched them. Mexico's matches were amazing. Some really good hearthstone if you want to catch the VODs. Also, USA being reverse swept while on Evolve Shaman was pretty crazy too.
Well if you lose points it means you get connected to a game and then your WiFi is too unstable. BG seams to have issues reconnecting after a connectionlos.
Welcome! For today, we are going through my highlight of Spell Hunter. With the new Hunter spells from Rise of Shadows and Savior of Uldum, Spell Hunter got some new decent support.
Cards like Unleash the Beast really help the deck to summon more token and clear thicc minions. We are going through my plays and my reasoning for certain plays. It is a pretty decent deck. Enjoy!
I also have only gotten I think 1 50g (offset by getting a 100g which was great) - the rest have been the 60g so very nice to stock up on gold before DoD launches!
New quest system
Oh right I always forget: small, indie company lol
New quest system
As far as I can tell, it’s a bug. I’ve rerolled one or two 60’s and I haven’t even seen a 50 gold quest yet

I have no idea what the deck even looks like... this gets upvoted on story alone! Great read!

I haven't been paying much attention to Standard, can somebody explain the Veil of Summer ban?

Hearthstone Global Games 2019
I get the feeling they just threw this tournament together to fill the gap between BlizzCon and the next GM season.

Will we be getting Wild Cards to compensate for the bans like last time?
I hope so because I have 4 copies of Oko and 3 copies of Once upon a Time.
Okay.
What do you think this deck will work in closed beta or (and) open access?
btw sorry for bad english...

Wish I could upvote this - great writing - thank you!
New quest system
I''m not complaining, but I got a lot of those "beat 3 bosses" or "watch and learn" type quests for a free classic pack.
