This card is very powerful. Turn 4, clear TWO of your opponents minions, assuming they have 3 or less health each. It's like a mini-board clear but in minion form.
There's no way this sees play over Sludge Slurper or Cable Rat. It *might* see play as a redundancy option alongside the other two, but at the moment the only token-y shaman deck wants murlocs, not totems or lackeys.
I think the issue is just one of perspective. You are making some pretty grand comparisons in your argument, in talking about the first man to walk on the moon, and witnessing an ancient civilization. I understand your points, but I think it's good to take a few steps back and look at what we're talking about here. Also, I think Flux has an interesting idea about denoting an original card back in some way, but I respectfully disagree with the implementation simply because I feel like it goes too far into the weeds. That would make sense for some kind of physical item like a comic book or actual cards, but I'd much rather the Hearthstone team stay focused on gameplay issues and other art related endeavors that they already have on their plate, rather than devote resources to that kind of specific cosmetic. But if they are able to do it, cool.
During the Dalaran reveal Blizz said that they will add new lackeys with the new expansions. If I remember correctly, they said there will be 1 new lackey for each expansion, at least for this year, but who knows?
What do you guys think, what will be the effect of the new lackey?
All lackeys are 1/1s, this lackey will probably be a 1/1 too. Reborn is the new keyword for the expansion, so a 1/1 with reborn is the most obvious option, but that is kinda boring. We already had Possessed Villager and now Mecharoo. Maybe we will get another bad guy who joins the League of E.V.I.L. and the new lackey will resemble his/her effect, but I doubt that.
This card is gonna win games in arena, it will probably not happen often, but you just know you are gonna get that one game where you wont be able to remove it and your opponent will just get 10 card advantage from lackeys and roflstomp you with evolves and generated spells. You know im right :D
This will need a lot of support to be good. Why? Because the reward only improves an existing deck by a little bit. How good is Shuffle-lock right now? Not very good.
Second thing to think about is that by the time you complete this, you're very likely to be in the later stages of the game, where mana cost matters less. The way to take advantage of this would be to make your deck really top heavy with a bunch of late game bombs. and in order to do THAT, you'll need much better early game defense and survival tools, which Warlock is currently lacking.
Probably not. All of the EVIL villains got assigned a class even if they were originally neutral (Dr. Boom, Rafaam). Since there are four hero classes and four league of explorers heroes, seems pretty obvious they're going to represent these 4 classes
Brilliant job getting the guide up so fast. One question though, why is the Mage section below all the other classes when typically its been third behind Druid and Hunter? Also noticed this was the case on the Rise of Shadows page.
Also here for the Mage thing. Whilst Reno would also fit Paladin because of the healing, the only class Finley could go to is Paladin because of Murloc synergy, thus Reno can only go to Mage since Druid is already taken by Elise, and Hunter is (presumably) taken by Brann. There's also the evidence of the artwork and the crystal gun.
I don't think Blizzard is going to use the whole "Reno is a dragon" thing here. It was a stupid theory to begin with.
I agree with the others that in terms of personality, Reno doesn't fit with mage at all, but given the evidence from the trailer(magic crystal gun, magical explosion to escape sand worm) I'm pretty sure that's the class he got stuck with.
Brann is a Hunter, because T-rex. Finley and his little golden fish-sword strike me as paladin and Elise was just released as a druid hero, but there's other hints in the trailer as well, like her cloak and staff.
It's not a big deal, really. I'm still surprised that lost of people are complaining about the toned down boobs and ass. I don't know about them, but I don't play this game to get a raging boner over some scantily clad illustrations.
The new art looks better, aesthetics-wise. The old art was starting to look dated.
Did you regularly get raging boners from the uncensored Secretkeeper art? Did the old Windfury Harpy give you an uncontrollable urge to masturbate right then and there? No?
Then for god's sake don't throw out this strawman that the only people who are upset about censorship & bowdlerization of art are mad because their favourite spank bank got closed down. It's a ridiculous argument on it's face, and as others have pointed out, it really does say more about you than it does about anyone else. If "I don't need boobs in my card game" is your best argument for change then you're admitting that you HAVE NO ARGUMENT. All you've got is vague attempts at shaming others for not being a puritan.
I get that it's not "the point" (censorship), but the main reason this isn't bothering me is that in practical effect, it's like the tree falling in the forest: If HS changes the art on cards that are never played, does anyone ever notice? Aside from Deadly Shot & Eviscerate, I never see ANY of these cards being played (well Secretkeeper once maybe every 100 games against a Secret Paladin/Hunter). So really I wasn't ever seeing the old art and will likely never see the new art except when going through the collection so whatever...
Restless Mummy

New Shaman Minion - EVIL Totem

New lackey from Uldum?

Saviors of Uldum
As always - fast and good work!
Keep on rocking!
Reno Jackson Paladin or Mage?
Maybe i would like him in mage more.
Multi-classing "Shaman" Druid [EZ Rank 5]
I saw a few different lists but none of them played the Cauldron - sounds fun - so im gonna give this one a try!
Reno Jackson Paladin or Mage?
Well mage used to use Reno in karazan and gadgetzan(as one of the kabal classes). The other kabal classes are EVIL classes.
That"s my reasoning anyway.
Reno Jackson Paladin or Mage?
Who say Mage cant be muscular? :)
Saviors of Uldum

Reno Jackson Paladin or Mage?
In other words we all have to admire Reno for his intense fitness training. He is really muscular for a mage.

Plague of Death
Plague of Death and High Inquisitor Whitemane should be enough that they're forced to do something about Big Priest in wild, right? RIGHT?
Classic Cards & Uldum
Hearthstone hates succubi xD
But in all seriousness, I like all the new card art except for Queen of Pain, I think she looks ridiculous. All the other patch notes seem very good.

New Hearthstone Expansion Revealed - Saviors of Uldum - All Revealed Cards
I am Heavy Weapons Reno.
And this...is my weapon.
Plague of Death
And Res Priest continues growing more insufferable.
New Warlock Spell - Supreme Archaeology
You can rate it in the card page btw

Did you regularly get raging boners from the uncensored Secretkeeper art? Did the old Windfury Harpy give you an uncontrollable urge to masturbate right then and there? No?

Supreme Archaeology
Archivist Elysiana would be crazy, too. With a few recent taunts it looks like a demon/taunt control deck could have some legs.
HoF basic cards are now common
Yeah was wondering what status they were at as they are wild basic cards.
I am keeping all since I am a horderer
