I dislike nerfing CC because the card is fine in a vacuum. It's oppressive due to the availability of discountable minions, and especially Mountain Giant because there are only 2 minions that cost 12.
Some people want there to be another 12-cost minion with crap stats to hurt the MG+CC combo, but that's rather awkward because 10+ mana discountable minions are still very strongly associated with giants. An inelegant but effective solution would be to have CC summon minions for the manacost they were played rather than their printed cost. It'd probably kill the conjurer deck though, and I'm not convinced that something that drastic is warranted. It may be a top tourney deck, but it's not like there's no competition to it, and ladder is still all mech hunters and bomb warriors.
If you're that bothered by conjurer mage, try playing aggro for a bit. Mages are a free win and you'll quickly come to resent warriors instead.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This is the situation pretty much spot on. It's a cool mage deck but maybe a bit overpowered, but tinkering with it in almost any way probably kills it.
I also think changing the mana cost of grave horror up or down one would make the deck a lot more balanced. Getting boardlocked by several giant taunts is what makes the deck so strong even against aggressive decks.
Giants as always been good cards in different kind of decks, both control and aggro, but they've never been the problem. Conjurer's Calling is the problem: too much value, low cost, very flexible, too powerfull. HoF'ing or nerfing giants is not the right solution: CC is what should be addressed.
I would strongly disagree. Conjurer's calling is a pretty balanced card when you're not talking about mana cheat giant situations. I would say if you're going to nerf this or giant you probably just nerf this though. A one mana bump on conjurer's calling is another possible solution, if a solution is needed.
I don't think they would make a lackey like that because it would require too much setup and synergy with the right minions. all lackeys so far are pretty easy to use in most situations, they help you some with small effects, and the opponent can get over it. giving a minion reborn feels like a kind of effect you would want to choose and put in a deck with deathrattles and taunts and stuff, it does not feel like the kind of effect you would want to get from a random source.
but I would not be surprised if they made a priest card that was 1/2 mana give a minion reborn.
Getting reborn on a powerful deathrattle or rush minion would obviously be the nuts, but you really don't need that much value for a lackey to be good. All you need is a minion that can trade on board and this hypothetical reborn lackey would turn it into a value-trade.
In that sense it mirrors the witchey lackey b/c in both cases you want a minion already active on the board for maximum value from evolve/reborn, only with Witchy you want a minion to value-trade before you evolve it, whereas here you'd get guaranteed value if you can make the trade.
On the main HS screen, there should be a download indicator in the upper right corner. I believe that contains most of the sound effects for mobile. But you have to stay on that screen in order for the download to complete. It's dumb, but that's how it functions.
However, I don't know if that will solve the issue with Elise. I don't have her, and I haven't encountered her. I just know it's the case with general sound effects.
Everyone knows it's a problem but it's also the only thing making mage viable. Pretty much every mage deck has giants and CC (freeze, cyclone, dragon etc).
Mage only has an average win rate but it's very polarised. Every game I have played as mage you either swarm the opponent with early high cost minions they cannot deal with or you really struggle if they do.
I suppose this is a deathrattle version of a Fire Fly type cart. No tribe though. I think rogues and paladins may find a use for this at the very least.
It looks like the four Leaguers will correspond to each of the four "good guy" classes, so it's just more thematically appropriate. Elise is a Druid, confirmed, and I bet Reno is a Paladin, Brann is a Hunter, and Finley is a Mage. It doesn't line up quite perfectly, but it's close enough.
I'd say Finley=Pally and Reno=Mahe, because Murlocs are usually Paladin cards and Dragons have been Mage cards lately :v)

I was quite vehemently against pre-orders last year after I made the mistake of pre-ordering Witchwood. Throughout the Year of the Raven, I was proven right to do so, unfortunately.
This year, however, Blizzard has managed to improve a lot. A lot, a lot. And I do mean A LOT.
Rise of Shadows was a great expansion
The devs are actively touching the game and improving it instead of letting it die between updates
The Dalaran Heist was awesome beyond any other single player content released so far, even if I disagreed with the pricing
Classic got new cards to renew the meta a little
Hall of Fame rotations mid-year, love them or hate them, stem from a desire to keep the game fresh and do it
There's plenty to be happy about
So, to be honest, I'm considering it. Not just because LoE still stands as one of the best expansions HS had to date, but because I actually feel Blizzard has improved and learned enough to deserve it. Besides, they're giving us a new Yogg and Elise is beautiful. I'm not sure if I'll go for the Mega-Bundle, either, but I definitely see myself buying it if the cards they reveal look fun.
Yes it is kind of, I think the same. EXCEPT... Reborn deathrattle summons minions straight onto the board. Which is very strong, TEMPO on the board was always strong.
Like.. we all remember how strong 4-mana 4/3 - Piloted Shredder was.. It wasn't straight reborn but, 4/3 is a 3-mana stats, which spawned a 2-mana minion. And it was veeery strong.
Yeah you are right I wonder about it as well we will probably get it in a card reveal, we don't know yet what are the plans of rafaam and co. and if they get new allies that will ad their lackeys tot he pool (Like the undead in the desert could have a boss that joins rafaam)
Already have. Both of them. And I'll probably get another 60 packs just after release. Aside from Brightwing i have a Complete Collection of both Wild and Standard Cards and don't want to slip behind.
I'm not a big Arena player, but if I may, it feels a bit strange for 1 to the highest rating, and 5 to be the lowest. In most cases, you expect the other way around.
Why is the card art showing quick sand? Either this should be renamed to sinkhole of death or quicksand of death OR the art should show something more plague-y.

Quest: Rush to Reno While Taunting Garrosh's Beasts!
You can combo Whirlwind with King Mosh though.
New lackey from Uldum?

New Neutral Minion - Brightwing
Fits in nicely with my control shaman (shudderwock value) and dragon warrior

Also without the deathrattle synergies... which kind of sucks

Wtf man, Reno is not a Dragon
Have you pre-ordered the expansion yet?
I'm waiting to see what the cards look like. I don't play druid much but hate the $80 paygate for heroes. I haven't ever gotten the preorder though.
Have you pre-ordered the expansion yet?
Will probably end up getting both the pre-orders.
Have you pre-ordered the expansion yet?
I havent yet
but will, that Reno Flex convinced me
