I feel like Blizzard is pushing the Big Warrior archetype, and I think it'll work. Regardless of whether it does or not, it'll be fun to pull two Ysera or Deathwing with this spell, even if it's just a meme deck.
I have the same feeling too. I see Nomi in a heavy control deck in combination with Archivist Elysiana as the only proactive cards in that deck with everything else included being survival/defense/healing/clearing/armor.
I've played Shaman the most as I had a ton of fun with the Evolve Shaman deck after opening Thrall, Deathseer. But ultimately I just play whatever class/deck is fun to me at the time.
This is my favorite legendary card from the set! Reasons:
- It fits into the classic Control Paladin arquetype. - Looks quite decent against the upcoming aggro meta. - It enables dragon sinergies, and dragons are so cool. - The art and board presence is utterly awesome!
Great job! very detailed guide! you write exactly what we need to learn for the rotation and the hall of fame! also i am hyped for new secret pala archetype and murloc shaman!! Keep up!
This seems like an unusually well-balanced expansion. Not a lot of trash, not a lot of broken stuff, but mostly just fairly costed cards with interesting effects. Looking forward to this.
I play every class almost equally (all golden!). Shaman is my favorite though; but unlike Hiei, I completely ignore Murlocs (except the ones that are still good without having tribal synergy, so I'm OK with a card like Sludge Slurper). I prefer elementals in shaman. And as a dude who loves playing control and midrange decks, I was so disappointed when I first saw the murloc cards for my favorite class during the livestream tbh. Well... At least we got Hagatha's Scheme, Witch's Brew and Walking Fountain. And Swampqueen Hagatha looks cool as well. So I'm not too bitter about the other legendary.
Maybe it isn't echo so that it will work with mana reduction cards like Far sight? Get this with far sight and it's repeatable 0 mana? Full heal to board and face? I'm probably being hopeful.
Even though there are some who complain there are no new deck archetypes (they're just reviving secret paladin, token druid, murloc shaman), I think with new cards and previously overlooked cards form Witchwood to Rastakhan's Rumble, it won't be that bad. Small Spell Mage and Deck Manipulation Warlock seem new enough and many players have not experienced Secret Paladin or even Murloc Shaman (playing since December, I haven't seen anybody except Disguised Toast's infinite murlocs thans to shudderwock.
Good for Priest, he needs board clears and this guy has synergy with faceless guy who copy your DR minion. Only bad thing cost too much and control priest has no win condition for now
This is going to be a mainstay in control decks, maybe a one-off, but the chances of people running two of these are high. Compare this to Abomination, it's so much better.
Defensive statline, lot's of damage, doesn't hit your own face, and in wild it clears buffed up silver hands.
New Mage Minion - Magic Dart Frog
I'm going to have so much fun playing Mage again! :)

As a Wild Renounce Darkness player, I'm really looking forward to Plot Twist. It's going to make searching for Renounce Darkness so much easier.
