Nice stats for it's cost, and it's a pretty strong effeect.

Paladin: Great for Libram/buff Paladin. Will see a lot of play. Looking forward to experimenting around with High Abbess Alura already!

Priest: As the reveal showed, it's really risky for priest. It's probably best in a tempo priest deck with a lot of buffs. This is also really good with Gift of Luminance.

well High Abbess Alura, we can say: "We expect great things from you."

RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

Okay as pally main have high hope for this card since we were given turalyon. 4 mana 3/6 is best stats, and on PP they are pushing midrange buff or sort so this hopefully see play. Now only pall-rior legendary to be revealed..

This is really interesting. I think Paladins will definitely play this more than priests just because priests have way too many removal spells. Being able to pull a Libram of Hope out of your deck on turn 4/5 can be game winning. Or even pulling out a Libram of Wisdom or Hand of A'dal is good enough for this to see play.

    Carrion, my wayward grub.

Seems better for Paladin than Priest mainly because of all the removal spells Priest has.  You could try to run a Priest with solely buff cards, but that still seems a bit difficult.  Paladin has more high quality buff cards that also don't have the symmetrical effects some Priest cards carry (like Breath of the Infinite or Plague of Death).

I really don't see this being a thing.

Basicallly every Paladin or Priest deck has to run spells that don't want to get pulled by this. Even in  Paladin, where there's basically no straight-up negative effects you wouldn't want this to pull something like Libram of Justice of Consecration because 9/10 times it would be wasted.

Even if, hypothetically, we can build a Paladin or Priest deck that runs ONLY buffs (or other benefitial spells) it would be for a single 4-drop with a one-time effect.

I can't see this being played legitimately in any deck...at least not with the current cards.

Man Paladin really is getting the short end of the stick...again. Let's hope Pure Paladin is good enough with some of the new additions.

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

Clearly great in a Paladin deck full of buffs, but I don't see how this works in Priest at all. Yes, there are lots of buffs, but are you planning to run a Priest deck without any removal spells? Maybe that's possible, but I've tried Minion/Tempo Priest on and off as they've tried to provide tools to make it work, and pretty consistently it disappoints. Perhaps the Paladin-Dual Class cards will change that, but I'm skeptical.

Paladins will benefit more from this card, while priests need to tailor their deck appropriately in order to include this.

I want to like this, but it looks so inconsistent. In Paladin, it could definitely high roll with a strong spell like Libram of Hope, but it can low roll hard with something like Libram of Justice on an empty board. In Priest, it's a similar deal where you could just kill it with one of your single-target removals like Shadow Word: Pain or wipe your own board with Plague of Death.

I guess you could build your deck exclusively with either self-targeting spells OR AoEs, but that seems like a big restriction for either class.

    Turn 4 libram of hope.

But seriously, this is a card you can build your deck around, not completly but if you put spells that would mostly be good to cast then it could work. For example put more libram of hope, blessing of kings and pharaoph's blessing in it.
And even if you cast a libram of justice it's no the end of the world.
Now priest has less buff and more removal, however things like "death" cannot target this so there is that.

You better make sure you stocked up on buff cards for your deck and not damaging ones, as the video pointed out. Looks great for Libram, and I'm sure even more craziness in wild.

Given the ability of Scholomance Paladin to krunk out the biggest of bois in the metahaus, I think it's possible to run this in a buff deck. You have to forgo spells like Subdue, but that's alright if you can slap down your buff cowboys before the other dude in LibRam Ranch does, right?

    Better call Thrall!

I like these stats on 4 mana minions!

So Paladin and Priest both have cheap spells that can be used to activate this minion's spellburst.

currently Paladin's are running the Libram package, with the Libram of Wisdom being so easily discounted and being able to return to hand it can be very easy for this minion to have this buff applied and then play either Libram of Justice or Libram of Hope for a massive swing turn.

Priests currently have Whispers of EVIL and Power word: Shield as a means to activate this minions effect on curve, and they're glut of buff spells means you can make this 3/6 into a 5/9 with life steal with Apotheosis, for example.

However, because this minion's text wants spells to be focused on her, you'll have to build your deck around her so she doesn't accidentally kill herself with say shadow word pain or subdue. Despite needing a deck built around her she will see home in Paladin and Priest decks in standard, I believe.

In the Arena it's not likely you'll get spells to activate her ability, but her stats aren't terrible

I could see this being run in a Paladin deck with 1-mana secrets such as Redemption as the spellburst activator to pull out the buffs.  Throw in some sticky minions with divine shield and there is value to be had.

An interesting card. Not very useful in any deck that runs board wipes, so potential in res priest is probably limited.

Has potential, but requires both cheap enablers and large payoffs to be really strong, so this is unlikely to be a buildaround.

This post is discussing the wild format.

Shadow Word: Death can target It?

Can be played in an hypothecally tempo/Buff priest, but i don't have high hopes on that card.

It’s hard to see this seeing that much play, given that Paladin already struggles enough against a big board, so having to go without the only real board clears they have is kind of a big deal

Who needs consistency when you could have fun?

this card is nuts and stupidly broken with the coin.  it needs some build around because you won't be playing targeted removal, but I think both classes are capable of doing that even if it's not the optimal deck.

Buff paladin should be a thing and thats where I expect this to shine.  you can even highroll Libram of Hope if you're playing a deck with it and you might have cheap activators with the reduced libram buff.

People are saying you can't run AOE but I don't see why.  A 'free' consecration/holy nova is still good.

Buff/Cube priest can also be a thing.  Priest will suffer much more than paladin from lack of targeted removal but they can run more removal on a stick (the new card and maybe even the 4/4 dragon)

Its surely a build around card, but in the right deck its not possible to ignore how powerful this card can become.

For priest its a little tighter, since priest has better target spells against the opponent. But for paladin, this is perfect, there being plenty of heavy spells in paladin that wouldn't mind being casted for free.

Theres some shenanigans with Tip the Scales somewhere, just saying.
