I've seen the prismatic lens x tip the scales combo, but adding a highlander late game for when your deck no longer has duplicates in it is inspired stuff :)
I'd consider removing one of the murlocs in place of a youthful brewmaster to recur one your lategame highlander battlecries. Also to get finley in your hand to use his battlecry after he gets pulled out of your deck by tip the scales.
In his Twitter post Iksar stated that the team as a whole hasn't come back from holidays yet, but it will starting from Monday (or Tuesday?). I'm sure we'll receive at least a teaser in a week or so.
They did say they'd be card rewards that will add to descent of dragons, I'm expecting some more highlander cards, invoke cards, sidequests and some cards to counter galakrond a bit also. There's usually a lot of legendaries in an adventure too
One thing thats interesting is that even if you're getting milled horribly all your replayability goes up in this set, you'll have lots of choices and ways to put things into play even when they're just memories in your graveyard.
They'll likely print another card with a base cost of 25 just to stop shirv doing that but then again, a shaman 1 cost spell and a paladin 25 cost is pretty hard to get together. Witch's cauldron is probably the only way it could happen.
Does anyone know what are they trying to do with Shu'ma ? Am I missing something ?
Well you could use it in a hunter roar deck, that the most obvious one, one thats more spell based, the other is a shaman deck itself if the opponent has no way to clear your board a bloodlust of tentacles will still take them down
Everyone wants to have fun in the game, theres no point being here if it's not; but not everyone wants a competitive game, I only play on the ladder long enough to get my 5 wins and get to 20 or 15 depending which alt character i'm using. (I do have a lot of alts)
To be competitive you'd have to sink some money to get the legendaries you want as you said, but as a fun player making decks with what I have and earn is by far the most fun aspect.
Witch's cauldron was by far the MOST crafted epic by me on my alts :) I wasnt playing around halloween last year so unfortunately I did miss out on the gold ones.
Since I play on casual for most of the time, the hidden win/loss rate usually gives me a decent game; something I do have a chance at a win for whatever quest I might need to win for.
<quote> : Simic Sky Swallower can’t be “elusive” because it’s a huge freaking serpent. You’re going to see it. Because it’s apparently a “sky swallower”, it can fly as well just like Sphinx of Jwar Isle.
Wall of Denial is a weird one. I struggle to understand how a wall can be “elusive”. Walls can’t move, so it should be easy to find, especially when it has a glowing blue aura and hieroglyphs around it. Then we got to the fact that the wall has Flying? Am I expected to believe that the wall is somehow supposed to be floating in mid-air despite not doing such in the artwork? Is it because the wall is tall, or because it appears to be dome-shaped? </quote>
Well it's pretty easy to me, they're elusive or shroud because they disappear, become unsubstantial, phase etc when you go to target them with something
They elude you just at the right time. You could include very fast creatures, incorporeal ones etc flavorwise.

There a heap of OLD content that i'm sure hasnt been updated , since I'm not playing it and probably almost nobody is I'd say it doesnt matter about the continuity errors caused by art replacement.
MTG arena is f2p and probably only exists in that form BECAUSE heartstone is around, all previous games for MTG were pay to play and mtg online is simply an online version of the real life game and it's very expensive.
Arena is playable and rewarding for a casual player, also the quests are not about winning, simply play X cards of a particular colour to gain gold to buy packs and you get packs from the current set via an xp earnt thing which is about playing (though you get a bit more xp on a win)
Theres also a bunch of promotion codes for it you find online to give you packs and cards.
yep I liked that card even though now it's been replaced by his reborn older brother mostly
Decent armor gain for druid, so much like a warrior card
Strange card
That nerf wasnt a nerf for her, just stopped her being completely broken she's still very strong doubt anyone should dust her

Communion with the stars:
I'm sure by looking at that card "incantesimo - aura"
that it should read: enchant a creature or enchantment.
As aura's always read "enchantment - aura" just under the picture

They have "brawl" which has just come to mtg-arena which is the first step, since it does have commanders.
The whole more than 2 people playing at once they dont have yet, that will take a bit of work.
I guess the issue some people have is seeing news items on the games they arent interested in.
I guess it will come down to page design.
When you're covering runeterra and heartstone, what do you put in the 3x top decks slots? another button to switch to runeterra view?
Either way I like information on both, just maybe a way to filter easily one type or another
Keep up the good work guys

I think it's good to shake it up, quite fine with the big health pool, next adventure it might be some other sort of twist, thats cool
You forgot the "all basic" deck.. Probably priest might be decent with that even though I know it's not a rarity per se.

yeah I see so many people saying it's a bad card, it's not just a bit more specific, might have been better as a 2/2 but it's fine as it is.
