uhh what? the outrage isn't because the game is unfun. It's also based on worry of the future of the game. The reward track hasn't lasted a month, so it didn't affect our ability to craft/and open a lot of packs yet. But it will next year with the mini sets and the new expansion.
If the people being angry didn't enjoy the game they wouldn't care enough to get outraged in the first place.

Tavern tickets also aren't something everybody wants. Events always used to be a thing, they keep going downhill if anything. From double gold at it's best and gold dust to I don't even remember what the last event did, that useless arena thing?
If the new system is better than it should award more base gold than the old system. You can literally play 30 mins in 2 days only doing quests and getting 100 gold guaranteed. Now and especially in the later levels you aren't guaranteed anything, and the weekly quests are very time consuming.
There is nothing to argue. You objectively get less gold than the old system. They said multiple times by at least two different devs (Iksar and Celaston) that you will earn at least the same amount of gold with extra rewards. And that was a blatant lie.
Bilzzard are terrible. It's mind boggling why anybody would defend a multi billion company for screwing over their user base. You literally get nothing in return for defending them. And no matter what type of player you are you get less gold to spend. Being a contrarian is not worth it.
The community outrage is not in ''bad faith'' nor is it unreasonable. The old system was bad, yet they somehow made a worse one while insulting our intelligence in the process.
It's easily fixable but the only logical reasons I can think of for not making it better is :
A/That was intended from the first place to make HS more expensive and they are just waiting for the thing to die
B/ It actually wasn't intended but those devs did the wrong numbers and they aren't willing to admit their mistake. Both of the devs I mentioned were defending the battle pass in the first couple of days but stopped talking about it all together a week ago. So either they are really incompetent or just told by higher ups to not comment on the matter.
Either way it's a bad look no matter how you analyze the situation.
You can do the pariah 10 attack thing in Duels. You need to put the guy that decrease the outcast cards by 1. Then get another copy in the loot buckets.
At turn 8 you can chain the 2 mana outcast treasure infinitely. It's an otk too lol.
So sad that they think this is remotely enough of a fix. and Why until Level 33 to replace those useless packs? Literally all of the ashes outland in the early levels are completely useless for the majority of the playerbase.
They need to change their exp math, this is the biggest problem with this soul crushing system.
I'm at level 25, got the other free legendary last night. I played a lot and I mean a lot since the new progression launched, because I got the BG quest and played BG just to clear it but I ended up liking the mode.
This battle system is absolutely brutal and slow. You have to wait several days to get another level even if you play a lot like me. Meanwhile the old system you are guaranteed 100 gold every 2 days even if you play less than an hour per day.
I tried doing the DMF achivements to get some extra exp, and they are just so bad lol. They are either give too little EXP (100), or are just too hard to do in ranked mode and is a waste of time.

It's really is annoying how DH in general have access to way too many things. Soul DH is just not interactable for most of the game.

They really shouldn't have made casual less exp. The fact that aggro decks can't farm gold anymore should be enough to make casual less aggro.
Well no. The problem is the cost of the hero power. Raza Priest was not a tier 1 deck for many months when Raza got nerfed.
In general 0 mana cost is usually broken (also see Alex, and Gala Rogue in standard)

I know that game time is the biggest indicator for how much exp you get. But is it true you get 70% less EXP in Casual?
