Sometimes spells don’t show up in the move list which I find odd. I don’t know what all things don’t show up in the move list but I’ve had this happen a few times where I was like the “WTF just happened
I tried burning him with vengeance they used a burst spellshield with spell mana. I tried buffing a follower to drop him they used two cheap spells to give him barrier with the draw engine they have I just found it impossible to kill him with my deck. I’d say vengeance needs a buff but it’s fine against everyday that does’t have spellshield which leads me to believe once again spellshield is just to damn useful.
Glad to see I’m not alone in wondering how to kill him. I’m glad the are trying to balance underused cards so they are useful but damn he is strong
When playing a deck with frostbite though he isn’t that much of a proble
Anyone played against a really good Lee Sin lately? 22 damage in one turn is kinda ludicrous. Especially considering the protections he has spell shield and deny do an excellent job rending him unmovable. And the card that fills your hands with gems works wonders with him. I’m just not sure how to deal with him Deny and spell shield strong.
9-1 in my last ten games my favorite was dropping dreadway then dropping a leveled GP that blew up their broad and nexus. Close second was triggering Sej on turn 7 to waste my opponents attack phase with a bunch of 0s then rallying and murdering those 0s that survived he immediatelysurrendered.
Sej and GP feel totally fine and not the slightest bit broke .......................
cant beat em .................. join em and help push up the win rate until the nerfs roll and you can go back to playing what you want.
I think a lot of the older decks that are aggro heavy don’t have a problem with Targon but if you are slow deck or midrange Targon is kind of a huge problem their ability to eat almost all the damage you throw at them while gaining cards just allows them to out resource you unless you are aggro is just ridiculous. Maybe what’s needed is the bigger the aggro damage be reduced a bit coupled with a reduction to Targon’s healing however this might make midrange decks overly powerful.
I consider my deck midrange and I fear Targon and Yasou.
Lawls @ the above post. Really what the breakdown will be did he make more people quit playing than he made start playing. You piss enough casuals off you get a game with no updates. Still pellshield feels very strong making it a one turn buff would be massive adjustment.
+1 to cheap aggro you need something that can push out 40 to 50 damage before turn 8 it wouldn’t be so ridiculous if they didn’t have all that damn healing. So much freakin healing, done 65 damage by turn 9 and they still have the over 10 hp
They certainly do feel OP maybe not to well constructed rush aggro. But anything that tries to outlast them is doomed. Anything that takes awhile to get rolling is most likely doomed. Slightly quick will probably get them if they get the right draws. And very quick will push their shit in most likely unless they get unlucky.
Hopefully either their healing or spellshield gets nerfe
I guess I’m ok with Sol being what he is but I think a change to spellshield is really what is needed. I thinking making it last one turn like barrier would be go a long way to making everything other than face aggro a lot more effective at dealing with these damn dragons. You burn my vengeance with a burst spellshield fine ...... you sit there with a spellspell for 3 turns while I have a vengeance sitting in my hand that’s bull and weakens big spells like crazy.
I just had a bomb dropped on me. There needs to be a way to read the celestial cards or they need to fucking show up in the list to see what the hell happened. I thought there was a deal 15 damage to all units spell about to go off. So I wasted two spells knocking off his spell shield and then used barrier on my buffed Garen. Then that shit went off and it only damaged my units. Is this really the spell? Because that is light years better than the Ruination feels super balanced. RNG wins ................... impressive this game killed the aspect that made it a fast paced strategy game and replaced it with luck draws.
I got to gold with a Teemo / Hec combo I found it hilarious ( great karma killer oh you gonna draw 4 cards guess what you drew 24 mushrooms you dead you B and they ain’t jack you can do about it) Sadly the deck no longer works after the expansion. Personal best was 320 mushrooms. Once I made it gold I got more relaxed I’d like to make it to gold every season but I have no desire to climb higher
Played 4 games I won’t be playing more until Nerfs roll. Spell shield should be a one turn thing right now it’s just to powerful unless they add more low cost AoE spells to pop it. Also seems like normal Riot, drop the newest thing overpowered and hope people will spend real money on it I don’t know why I expected different I’ve been a league player for years.Damnit riot I spent money on this game during spirit blossom because I WANTED to I felt you earned my money this ...... this just makes me feel cheated.
Seriously do they even play test? some things have felt strong even overpowered but I felt there was at least something I could do I don’t feel like that now
Early burn has definitely been nerfed but Yasuo / Swain combo just keeps popping up it’s like every 3rd match. Now I only see Karma every 15 games or so. What are people using to deal with them? Maybe once the new cards drop they will be easier to deal with. I dropped a ruination to wipe the broad after he was out of mana next turn dropped Hec who immediately got stunned. And then he summoned Legion General.
This feels very much paper scissors rock. I feel great against aggro and elusives but Deep decks are my bane I can’t push out enough damage and they seem to hit deep incredibly early. No you aren’t the only one who feels like this, but I doubt most aggro and elusive players do.
I throw Hec as a pusher he attacks with 9 damage between him and his spawns and when he gets rekindled or rezed for 3 spell mana he can be oppressive I also have 2 nethergades that can make him pump 11 damage on turn 6 which has won me games against deep and karma.
I don’t read guides or follow tier lists or copy the best prebuilt decks I consider myself very casual. A major part of the fun for me is if I can think of effective deck my own mind. I was just wondering if others are finding karma as troublesome as I am. It is interesting to see other people’s take on it and I am picking up some suggestions.
For record not knocking guides or tier list it just isn’t the way I choose to play because the most important thing to me at this stage in my life is “ am I having fun while playing”. Getting nuked by karma / ez combo in one turn is no fun
Just dropping Nat can be very powerful. But like ESL all the hard removal and mana burners make it so I try not drop heavy monsters or if I do their summon ability is what I am banking on because it’s doubtful they’ll stay on the broad long enough to attack.
Maybe I’m biased against Nat my deck isn’t quick enough to smack him down before he gets to go deep
With Hec / Sej / Ashe I play against her like I play against Nat / Maokia which is put everything into finishing the game as fast as possible. I’ll try to start ignoring her and see what the results are however her giving the other player cards while she sits on the broad is also part of it if she didn’t grant cards for being alive then I wouldn’t think she needs to be changed at all. My deck is slow it stalls most aggro / burn decks until they run out of resources then I cut them apart
I guess my hard counter is decks that are even slower. I didn’t notice the mediation nerf or even the Karma cost increase because I didn’t really notice her before. When my nexus got nuked from 20 to zero with burst spells in one turn Itook notice.

Yes spellshield can counter frost bite but I normally have more than one in my hand. Also seeing them buff spell shield is f ing hilarious
Hmm the buff to bastion yap that seems about right. /Considers quitting

Was own a losing streak built a Sej & GP now

This game certainly isn’t pay to win. It’s so incredibly generous to anything I have played. Especially digital card games

Feels Rock Paper Scissors to me.

Nox just feels very strong.
Hey Karma I found something for you and it’s making me lawl hard. Most importantly I’m having fun dealing out 17 damage a round by turn
This feels very much paper scissors rock. I feel great against aggro and elusives but Deep decks are my bane I can’t push out enough damage and they seem to hit deep incredibly early.

I play Shadow Isle / Freljord
