Didn’t Druid have a version of this that could only be cast on Beasts in the Whispers of the Old Gods set? Given that the Druid card saw play, I think this will be pretty good. Also, it seems great when paired with liadri
You can cast Mark of Y'Shaarj on anything, it's just that you need to pick a Beast if you want to draw the card. Otherwise Yes, they are very similar.

But 5 mana taunts been played in almost every meta, even without a synergetic boost. It may be better than you give it credit for - or it may be worse than I rated it - only time will tell.
The cost reduction gets me a tad worried, as it is already pretty powerful - slow, yet effective - it makes me want to try building up decks now, also the flavor text is spot on : "Think you got lethal? Libram of NOPE!"
I'd say most of the demons artwork is pretty amazing
