Well, I must just say that for someone who's '' too lazy to think through all the possible iterations '', you did a pretty neat recap & list of possible scenarios, just not an exhaustive one ^^
Feels good to get some drops back on twitch, but strange at the same time ... But 2 free packs me - for virtually nothing back in return - won't complain ^^
As much as I believed the nerfs to have been necessary, that Monday patch caught me off guard and I was hoping I could score a few broken wins before the patch was to be live ... You snooze, you lose I guess
(...) By the way, how is your grinding going? Have you got any new golden/1k portraits
Not too bad actually, I haven't completed any new 1k portrait, but worked toward completing Priest & Warrior, respectively 70 & 80 wins away from it. Then comes Hunter, Shaman, Mage & Druid - at a respectable 900, 800, 700 & 600 wins on ladder each, in that order. They are all coming together, at some point ... except maybe Demon Hunter ^^
Meanwhile, Gul'Dan & Valeera are both a tad over 1200 recorded wins - and I haven't touched Uther since I completed him Total wins - in the quest log - writes 12 709, considering that my first 2 years, I wouldn't get close to 50% winrate, that's must represent a few more games played to say the least.
I was just about to add my 2 cents to Open the Waygate's nerf - as increasing the spell count by 2, do very little to actually slow Mage's win condition(s) - then I saw your comment summing it up admirably, so instead of a rant, +1 ^^
Just over a week into AoO and the release of Demon Hunter, and I feel like it is going to take me forever to get 500 wins ... Not that DH isn't effective - no, far from it - it just ... doesn't feel right. I never been an aggro enthusiastic, and this is where DH excels.
I got maybe 10 wins with DH in standard, playing a tempo list, and about as much in Wild with an odd list. The next nerf should address the power level of the class and make it feel less like a cheatin' move. How's the grind going for you?
Would you look at this intimidating mug ^^

Bamboozle always makes my day - unless I get Bamboozled ... ^^

Passive lurking gave me a pack so far ^^

Yes, Millhouse is doing a little too good I'd say.
Looking forward for that nerf ; wonder what it'll be this time
Its the return of the Twitch Drops - Yay!
Its like The Caverns Below's saga, all over again, but way more condensed in time ^^
