btw do we know that it will always cost 5 mana? cause according to the cards text its just a 5/5 copy of a legendary, so i would assume it would be like an 9 mana alex with 5/5 in stats?
regarding ur question, I have no idea. reason why is because its very good if u get it with 8/8 taunt on turn 6, its supposed to be efficient vs aggro, however vs aggro decks we starting putting our cards on the board faster so that we contest it while we search for our defiles. so in that scenario you're spending 6 mana for like a 4/4 taunt and a 2/2.

Funny thing is that i created it thinking that a mix between handlock and aggro would result in nothing good. it was just supposed to be kinda of a meme, but after i tried it it was very consistent at having an early board while having a big hand size in order to synergize with our power plays of turn 3 or 4 giants. dropping the twilight drake and the faceless taunts that even lock used actually proved to be useful as it was week to silence effects.
of course much will change with the new expansion, but until then have been having fun with this deck. cheers
Look at the video guys. Theres no deathrattle. Its start of turn effect. Maybe with quest its harder to clear cause its 4 eggs but seems slow for an 8 mana play. Either way turn 6 u can easily clear 2 0/3. I dont see how is this card any good
Reno and even warlock says hi. good trigger for defile if needed, and AMAZING card vs rez big priest which reno and even warlock decks in wild kinda struggle with. i know big priest aint thing anymore but trust me they are still around.
thanks. my main problem with evenlock was facing big priest (before the nerf) and now it works pretty fine if you run Sylvanas Windrunner, as i've had, cause of how easily you can proc it. sadly its a dead card in most matchups, tho against reno warlock you really need this card as well as against handbuff pally. Problem is i face very few renolocks and big priests. handbuff paladin usually deal their dmg way too soon, so spellbreakers are the way to go and snipsnap lock combos way too soon for sylvanas to be relevant.
Very true. and if you like me, hate facing Secret Mages cause of how they ignore board states and just go face with burn then you are gonna have a bad time.
even with an early board threat its useless cause of how flame ward destroys everything. u cant tap u cant play stuff. u dont beat secret mage. the only times i did it was cause they never pulled flame ward. and or had a bad opening and i managed to get giants early on.
yeah that might turn out to be huge for HS as a whole. u play the first weeks the new exp then it gets stale. then theres nerfs sometimes buff apparently and when that gets old and the new exp is like 60 to 80 days away ppl jump in more on BGs and there there will be new nerfs and buffs to the mode and the game will stay fresh until the new exp Rinse and Repeat.
with events and brawls and arena shifts in between i believe HS might enter a new golden era.
yes. ppl said this mode would never be competitive. this will prove them right or wrong.
im hoping it proves them wrong but lets see. i think the biggest challenge of BG will be how ladder will turn out after Descent of Dragons. that will heavily impact BG. on both my accounts my friends list is alwasy filled with ppl playing BGs. that will change with the upcoming exp but question is how long?
how long will it be until ppl get fed up of broken ladder and opt to play BG more and more until it eventually turns to be the main mode in HS? far fetched? quite possibly, but you never know...
battlegrounds has been the best surprise ive had in HS. just played 2 matches vs mage on ladder they got super lucky with their RNG spells when i had lethal i just said fuck it. not facing shamans and still get screwed by this rng moments. at least in BG things are fair with rng.
its my main mode atm and this dev updates shows how they are into it too
