It's by no means a bad card when you're opponent throws down their finisher. If your opponent is going to flood the board you're already playing priest and have some board removal already in your deck.
Nice effect, Rogues got a lot of cards that are HUGE when discounted for value - like SI: 7 Agent, Vanessa, or that new weapon they just revealed.
I feel like this guy will be in a deck with lots of bounce so you can keep utilizing the effect. If Whirlikick was in standard this guy would be an MVP.
Paralyzing Poison, Deadly Poison, Nitro Boost Poison, Leaching Poison...that's not a lot, but I'm sure Rogue will now get a new "poison" spell card for this weapon.
I think Desperate Prayer will definitely see play.
Aside from Xyrella, Priest also has the Priest of An'she and Spirit Healer for healing/holy spell synergy, and Nazmani Bloodweaver to help with insane miracle combos.
Also even if you can't damage your opponent at all, healing for 5 with desperate prayer and then throwing out Xyrella is a 2 card, 4 mana Flamestrike, which should clear most boards.
AWWW HELL YEAH! I been looking forward to Saurfang coming to HS!
regarding the card, this is pretty powerful - but you'll probably wanna do some very serious deck construction to make sure Saurfang doesn't resurrect any duds so you get immediate value when he's played.
Also it's interesting seeing the words "resurrect" outside of Priest and Paladin.
Also I really hope he has an alt opening dialogue if played against Sylvannas telling her off
I feel like the deathrattle package in that list could be swappedout with almost...anything and it'd still be god
