I finally made it to legend in December 2022, and my in my final game I used a randomly generated Objection to counter my opponent's Sire Denathrius. Felt good to put the Sire in his place and get my card back.
Nick Fury is kind of a mid card, but I love the fact that it's an autographed copy. Plus, it's a card I don't already own so it's one step closer to completing my collection!
It's pretty cool bc they essentially do the exact same thing on a smaller scale, and although I doubt some of these will be too viable for the time being, thematically, they're amazing.
I don't know why people are surprised, it was a Prisoner's Dilemma of sorts. A ton of people chose Alliance because they assumed Horde would win, and people didn't understand that you got both Golden Legendaries from the questline. Also, most of the big Hearthstone content creator's chose the Alliance on their main accounts, so they'd probably have some sway in everyone's decision.
I hate how people are gonna choose based on classes, because you can play for the Alliance with a Horde class and vice versa. All in all, choose Horde bc I want the diamond portrait! lol
Yeah but there was no way that a miniset would alter the meta THAT drastically, it's not like when they printed Darkmoon Races and all of Wild was Hysteria Warlock. I think the slight resurgence (at least what I'm seeing) of a decent Aggro Shaman is good, so the changes did their job.
As cool as the budget decks sound, I'm intrigued by Shattering Blast and freeze mage, especially since it's probably good at handling big buffed minions from Paladin.
That being said, I'm definitely gonna try out a big Demon Hunter deck.
Honestly, and this might just be me, but what's the appeal of watching any of these tournaments after the first week? The game mode might change up sometimes but it's always he same predictable decks every single time. LMK what you guys think.

Update that as of December 2nd, 9:00 EST, Fireside Gatherings now work for early pack opening.
Now that you mention it, I DO want to drink the syrup.
but then this buff doesn't work on Lightning bolt which is like, the central Shaman burst spell right now

No matter how poor the odds, first pack I opened was Vanndar :(
From all of this, I'm just more exited Fluxflashor is on team horde. FOR THE HORDE!

Not to nitpick, but for the passage on Edwin, did you mean Questing Adventurer instead of Questing Explorer?
I got:
Tavern Special - 35 Barrens Packs and 2 Legendaries for 37 CAD
Bob's Bargain - 20 Phoenix Packs and 2 Legendaries for 25 CAD
Yep! Time to have a tab on mute in the background of everything else!

TOUYOWYECOYBWOCUIBWNEORUCBWPQP This is such a good idea, I knew this would be good but Mecha'thun didn't even cross my mind!
QUICK everybody act surprised, and pretend we didn't already see 1/2 of these!

So it looks like we're at least getting a murloc, maybe a new Murloc Legendary, based on the size.
I mean this could be pretty lucrative with the nerfs, Hysteria is an instant 800 dust, the other commons are all 400, seems worth it rn.
