12k for Horde. Don't really care about either faction, but Drek'Thar would've had a way cooler animation. I hope they show both in a post so Alliance fanboys can understand what they missed out on.
Lightning and glowing wolf eyes? Or a dwarf breathing heavy? The choice is clear!
I know you say this isn't the worst meta, but it feels the worst to me.
Patron warrior took well beyond turn 10+ to complete.
Mysterious challenger was turn 6-7, and then it wasn't necessarily GG, but it was tough.
All the darkest hour warlock BS was turn 7-8.
Now, most games can be absolutely decided by turn 5-6, with turns 7-8 a luxury. I've been killed by a druid on turn 3 (i'm not saying druid is a problem atm). nearly all the old "hall of fame" cards would never see play today. the mana cheating and draw is absolutely off the charts right now. way too many 0- and 1- drops, and way too many low cost minions with premium (or better) stats in addition to several powerful effects.
the game feels very auto-pilot. did your opponent brick? did you brick? great coin toss. almost no decisions to be made.
IMO the biggest problem with warrior quest is that it tutors out ancharr if you have bad mulligan. it also draws, and board clears/goes face.
I'm fine with aggro having damage, but it shouldnt also have 100% perfect draw via tutoring. honestly i'd like to see the quest rewards draw pirates and not weapons. or give a random weapon. but ensuring you get ancharr for consistent curve value is insane.
I went f2p after the HK nonsense and I've been tracking my gold pretty well. The battle pass progression vs. 10g/3wins made me nervous, but the last couple expansions I had a comparable amount of gold.
Last expansion, I had ~13k gold doing all dailies and weeklies and playing casually. I did not buy the minisets because I had enough dust to craft what I wanted.
Looking at the next expansion, I have a smidge under 10k gold and i'm 15-20 levels higher than last expansion. Was there a gold nerf?
Taunt Druid is fun, but it can highroll so hard it feels dirty.
I don't understand why Quest Mage isn't nerfed. They have more card draw and shuffle than Rogue or DH.
I've felt this way a few times before (bored of decks); like when highlander Hunter was the only viable archetype for like... 2 years. Yawn. For me, it's the powercreep in all the mana cheating, which enables all the solitaire decks. All that stuff they moved to Hall of Fame, and I don't think any would be played today except maybe Ice Block.
Wrong. The devs ruined the standard, wild, and battlegrounds meta so everyone would be so bored that they'd try out mercenaries. Actual galactic brain.
Blaming the players is absolutely never the answer.
If players are being obnoxious and toxic, they're probably upset. If you're trying to sell them something, it's your job to make them happy. They don't owe you a cent.
To pretend that players are entitled rather than devs is hilarious.
Players will always complain, exploit, etc., to push the limits of any system. That's an opportunity for the developers to improve their system.
Hearthstone languished for a long time, and the dev team started making some changes more recently, except now we've got turn 4-5 lethal. They nuked patron warrior from orbit when it was like a turn ~17 combo. To have no content on game modes people like for so long, and then fed another thing that no one asked for, is going to piss a lot of players off.
Like you said, they made a horrible presentation. That alone speaks volumes. If all resources and focus is on this game mode that they enjoy internally so much--why didn't they put in the time to make a great presentation? Why wasn't it self-evident how great the game mode is from their crappy presentation?
It leaves players more than skeptical.
Blizzard did the same thing with HOTS (dead), Diablo Immortal (don't you have phones?) and Overwatch (promise a ton of content, go dark for 2 years, then announce PvE while neglecting PvP). They're on thin ice and it's up to the developers to make their case as to why anyone should care.

my first time seeing double
I face almost all Alliance. I picked the Horde because I thought that card would look cooler with a diamond skin.

this shit game is disconnecting me every 90 seconds. shit launch. shit company.

Blizzard breaks plenty of things on their own. They don't need our help :>
I doubt anything will improve until these companies get broken up into smaller, more manageable (and less harassy) units.
Drek'Thar will surely have the cooler diamond portrait
that's the best mega-bundle yet. pity since i went f2p though
I just picked warrior and summoned pirates and AI Jaina couldn't do a thing. Easy peasy (bad brawl, but what else to expect from Blizzard?)
I'm largely bored of the game.
Libram Paladin is good, but it's old.
Face/Quest Hunter are good, but again, old.
Taunt Druid is fun, but it can highroll so hard it feels dirty.

single-player
competitive
or other players
I do not think these words mean what [Blizzard] thinks they mean!
But why not just the internal MMR, then?
What is the point of external vs internal MMR? If the system works, wouldn't people be allocated and sorted quickly regardless?
More changes, any changes, more frequently.
Battlegrounds!
More and more frequent balance patches!
