Seems a little bit boring to me but 1 damage and a randon lackey is OK for a price. This is a Combo activator which is always good. Only playable in a Galakrond deck IMO, so it will see some play more or less depending on meta.
Waxadred became much more interesting to me after Necrium Apothecary was released. This card might be too slow even with all the ways to activate it. Seems playable now but we'll see exactly only after the expansion goes live.
In theory some Gonk deck might work but as said before Quest druid is just stronger IMO. It's hard to draw all the damage cards and complete sidequest faster then Quest druid goes out of control. And there is no mechanics to deal with taunts. I'll be glad if I'm wrong and there will be this kind of druid!
As said before this card is Curious Glimmerroot reincarnation with some tweaks. I like these tricky priest cards =) Right now It's a situational card and i don't think it will be played a lot. But i believe it'll be played much more after 3 expansions rotate out in April. In a new Hearthstone year a 2 drop will help against aggro and can possibly give you a copy of a strong card in a contol matchup. Ofc it's only my guesses.
Not sure if Hot Air Balloon will be played in december since we have a lot of strong mechs right now. But this card is a preparation for the next Hearthstone year when the strongest mechs will rotate out of Standard with the Boomsday expansion. So Blizzard wants us to play mechs in the future. Lets see if we'll able to =)
A good card overall, mech with OK stats and some potential to grow looks promising.
This card can become terrifyingly powerful in any mech based deck. The first ones I thought of are Mech pally and hunter. Mech paladin was not weak but with this card this deck can become monstrous one. Camouflaged Dirigible may become a problem but there is some logic - Blizzard sometimes releases cards which become OP in current meta but lose a lot of their power after the next year rotation. So i guess Blizzard boys a OK with few months of a potential mech domination since we'll lose Galvanizer, SN1P-SN4P, Zilliax, Wargear etc with the Boomsday rotating out of Standard.
Decent stats for the price. Hunter now have a tool to clear several fat creatures in one turn. It can be effective especially now with Desert Spear (swarm of locusts and unleahs the hounds ofcourse too). But the question is what kind of hunter really needs this? It's not a card for any deck, it looks like a good situational card that can fit in highlander deck or in a quest hunter if it becomes playable.
Varanus is an answer to potential decks with huge buffed creatures which may appear - Galakrond taunt warrior, dragon handbuff paladin etc.
If Devastation works like a discover so we got a "must include" card for almost any Galakrond deck. That's what we were sometimes lack with the Old Gods - a way to draw it directly when we need it. Very like the card and the art especially. If we are entering a Galakrond era we'll see this card on ladder a lot.
If meta will allow some kind of deathrattle rogue to play, this card will definitely fit in this deck. Rogue usually has a lot of ways to trigger a combo effect so it's not a big deal. Very interesting to know how good it will be with Waxadred on ladder.
Might be good in arena since it has 2-5 stats for 4 mana, and a chance to draw and to get a free deathrattle.
2 damage for 2 mana is playable even with no dragon synergy but 4 damage and lifesteal for 2 mana is insanely strong. Warlock now has a very good removal card, if he needs one.
I don't know if it's playable but i'm glad we got some interesting mechanics. I guess it will be either OP or a piece of trash. But the possibility to make something terrific in Hearthstone is always nice =)
Wow.. It looks strong even with no other dragons in a deck. A good card for both constructed and arena. If paladin will exist in the new meta this card can be played everywhere besides aggro archetype.
I very like the card! If warlock decks will contain dragons its a very strong 5 drop. In a dragon warlock deck it's a new Abyssal Enforcer. Seems strong to me!
An interesting option for warrior. Want to try it already) It fits in dragon warrior, it might see play in a control warrior if this archetype will survive the new year rotation.
Depends on how "attack all" really works. at the same time? one by one? might be good or bad depending on those things we don't know yet. it will rarely come to the board as a 12hp minion that is for sure.
I believe it's "one by one", otherwise it would be too strong IMO.
5 damage for 4 mana and a possibility to get 5 armor - i'd say its good. In heavy taunt or control warrior deck it is definitely playable. We might need this card after the new year rotation.
Right now this card looks not that strong but we need to see all the expansion cards to decide how bad or good it is. We might have to play this one if there is not enough invoke cards.
A very strong tempo card for a dragon paladin, which reminds me a Val'anyr deathrattle. So i guess we got a very strong and solid card. Need to test it out =)
I'd say Shield of Galakrond is one of the strongest invoke cards right now. 4-5 body with taunt for 5 mana is OK but invoke makes it very strong IMO. I assume it should see play in any Galakrond deck.
Evasive Drakonid looks good for decks which can buff him somehow. It might fit in warrior Galakrond deck or dragon paladin if those archetypes will exist. Anyway it's a nice card to try at the expansion start.
