I think the 8 comes from the minion's health, so it needs to attack an enemy minion to transform (Rush), therefore it will probably take some damage before using the 8 times. Except if you hold 8 turns and attack only the enemy hero, but then it would be real slow.
Now that's great, instead of investing on a bigger playerbase on the great moments of the game, they waited for the playerbase to drop to a minimum to put the game out there.

Still, weird how they are charging the same value for all decks, but they all have different dust costs, Runeterra did this one better, charging based on how many of the cards you have and the rarity of the cards.

Ok this is GOOD. Spellshield is really powerful, and this gives multiples for 2 mana. I predict a nerf to this one.
A really good pool for a first championship. I don't remember correctly Hearthtone's, but I think it was 100.000 or something like that.
