Comments
Yes to changing up the game with a new card type
Lndmarks should be very good ... to waste a space on the board is a major disadvantage ...
Taking up a permanent card slot is actually a really big deal in LoR. HS has 7 slots (one more than LoR) and Eternal has 12 slots. Not sure how many MTG has. But I think presently, LoR has the smallest number of slots, so taking up one of them permanently is not trivial.
If you go back to the old-school TCGs you can find fewer slots. E.g. Yu-Gi-Oh only has 5, while Pokemon has 6 but only 1 of those is active at a time.
Of course both of those games have a mechanism to sacrifice/evolve monsters/Pokemon in the slots, so you don't get blocked off in quite the same way.
MTG has no limit.
Plenty of new stuff coming!
Im curious what will be the new event, I really enjoyed playing through spirit blossom.
Most likely it will be the harrowing or whatever, as for what that entails I expect some shadow isles stuff since it's their main gimmick
Not to mention it will be around Halloween, so more spooky stuff is expected imho :)
I like everything except the state of Card Styles, if those borders are it, then that is extremely low effort honestly. I hope they come up with something more interesting in this regard.
Yup, new card styles are mediocore.
