How Can I Compete?
It's too late for this go-round, but Riot plans to do similar tournaments at the end of every season -- and honestly, the potential for a "Cinderella story" in Legends of Runeterra dwarfs that of any other e-sport. Your next opportunity should be in February; make sure to do your best to climb the ladder and collect Prime Glories next season for your chance to participate!
