can you mark more than one unit? i mean it says kill "units" with my mark
It does, but it also says the first time you slay a unit each round, so I'm not sure how you'd ever manage to trigger the effect on more than one target.
I assume if you managed to get two copies of Kindred on the board, each one would mark the different enemies. (Just like a “stun the strongest unit” effect always targets the strongest unstunned unit.) Also, if you duplicate a marked minion, the mark would be copied over.
Those are edge cases, but I think the wording they chose for the card covers them clearly. (Maybe instead they could have said something like “marked units die at the end of the round”. It’s still clear what happens if two units are marked, but it doesn’t make you stop and wonder the first time you read it.)
So...with Kindred on the board, every slaying is a 2-for-1? Jeez...
No. The first slaying each round is a 2-for-1, and your opponent has ways to play around that.
Two questions:
A. Does Spirit Journey work as a way to avoid negative effects being cast on your units?
B. If you target Kindred with that will it reset her leveling condition upon her being revived?
A. I believe so. Revived units spawn on the far right (don't they?) so they should dodge the spells cast on the original unit.
B. I would imagine it will, and you probably won't even get an enemy marked since slaying Kindred happens before the effect triggers (at least that's my logic).
Yeah that makes sense but I wasn't sure. At least it is a protective tool, that's interesting.
However: if you mark an enemy, use Spirit Journey on Kindred and slay another unit you should mark another enemy leveling Kindred on the end of the turn
I love it, and more importantly, this actually seems like a more value oriented Shadow Isles champion. Outside of maybe Thresh we've not got much in that department.
I did not expect kindred to make it to Runetera , but I am glad that they did.
Lamb's Respite seems pretty busted with Out Of The Way, giving you a cheap version of Unyielding Spirit. Granted, original Unyielding is fast speed, doesn't need OotW to be permanent and can target any ally, but it's still a version of it nonetheless, which can prove powerful. Sadly Hush exists, but Hush is necessary evil, giving you an answer to buffed champions and cheese strats like OotW.
Busted? No.
Cheesy? Yes
I literally LOLed when I read this. Literally.
So crazy...
