Happy Birthday Legends of Runeterra! Today is the first day of the celebratory login rewards that arrived with Patch 2.6.0. Here's how login rewards work:
- Each day you will login and receive one reward, in order, from the anniversary login rewards list.
- If you miss a day, don't worry, the event runs for a total of 20 days so you have plenty of room.
- You will also receive a special event quest with your reward.
- Completing all your event quests gives you an exclusive anniversary card back. (More on that soon).

Comments
The Garen emote will probably powercreep Braum right out of the meta entirely.
Which is actually great, imo. I don't mind the Garen emote - doesn't bother me for some reason. Maybe it's just too new. Or maybe it's the fact that it's obviously meant to be rude, so I'm fine with people being rude with it.
Maybe what bothers me so much about Braum-wave at the end of a match is that Braum is nice and he's supposed to used as a kind greeting at the beginning of a match, not as a smug game-ender.
I hope the Braum emote is still used to say “hello” or “I’m playing Braum!” I agree that it’s fine if this new emote replaces the “I’m trying to tilt you” meme. Partly because this one is just so pitiful and weird that it’s hard to take anyone who plays it seriously.
My interpretation of the emote is that someone dressed up an old man in a Garen costume, stuck a gun to his head, and told him to act jolly. Obviously, he’s failing at it. Most games have some truly weird emotes that are more absurd than anything. This is LoR’s first like that.
