So basically you play ribbon dancer, she summon a blade and that blade attack for free. This have great synergy with both Azir and Miss Fortune since it triggers their effects and works toward their level 2.
Ribbon dancer is certainly going to be one of the best 2 drops of the game and I am curious how strong decks around this dude can become but I am afraid it could form a tier 0 ionia deck... at least it's a viable Ionia deck for once :)
I think Ionia might have an actual Ionia deck for the first time in almost a year, rather than just including Ionia for Deny/Nopeify/Shen
Hopefully they get it right this time Ionia is one the most annoying region to deal with due to deny and nopeify and now we could probably add syncopation to the list.
What's Blade Dance?
Description of the keyword is at the top :) Blade.
Does the blade dance attack by themself, before the "normal" combat ? Do they trigger summoned guys if for instance I have Azir in play ?
My understanding is that the blades just appear in-combat and attacking; you don't spend or gain an attack token. Think like how Cataclysm works. I would expect it does proc Azir / Greenglade Duo / etc. The blades self-oblit when combat ends, so they would only proc Thresh / They Who Endure / Phantom Prankster / etc if they are blocked & killed before the combat ends.
Seems really broken with Miss Fortune but then you have to be in Ionia so.. maybe it's fine I guess..
seems interesting the swap spell looks really good utility, the Shen spell is really fun but expensive now you can do it with spell mana.
Yeah, i imagine Syncopation will see a lot of play. Not only it is cheap, but its a burst spell, that will ruin many plans for a lot of ppl :)
