Legends of Runeterra's Beyond the Bandlewood launches today, and we've put together all the information you're going to need to know for the release. This is the first release of Set 5, which brings in the Bandle City region as the final region for the game.
Beyond the Bandlewood Fast Facts
- 126 new cards have been added to the game.
- Bandle City has been added as a new region. This is the last region being added to the game.
- Some old Champions have become dual-region with Bandle City - Fizz, Heimerdinger, Lulu, and Teemo.
- New Keyword: Manifest
- Create in hand one of three randomly selected cards.
- Hearthstone players, this works like Discover!
- New Keyword: Impact
- When this strikes while attacking it deals 1 to the enemy nexus. This keyword can stack.
- New Card Subtypes:
- Yordle
- Fae
- Bilgewater, Noxus, Piltover & Zaun, Shadow Isles, and Shurima all have been extended to level 40 on their Region Roads.
- Eight new archetypes are being added to expeditions. (Source)
Beyond the Bandlewood Event Pass
We've got a fresh event pass that is all yours for completing!
- The paid pass costs 975 Coins.
- The new event begins on August 25 and ends September 22.
- There are 28 total rewards available on the paid pass. (9 on the free one)
- You will be collecting Acorns through completing Quests.
- There are two 10-quest chains that unlock at level 1 and level 13 on the event pass.
- Weekly Epic Quests will appear which give us Acorns and icons for Tristana, Ziggs, Poppy, and Veigar.
- Repeatable Quests will be available throughout the entire event so you can always earn Acorns.

New Region: Bandle City
The final region, Bandle City, has been added to the game and its filled with Yordles! Here are the four new champions that are in the new region.
In addition to these Champions, four older champions have also been added to Bandle City through the new multi-region feature.
More New Champions
Bandle City isn't the only region that received new champions in the expansion. A cool thing to note is that Riot made a change to Lucian that lets him level-up off of the Senna champion now in addition to Senna, Sentinel of Light
Expeditions Gets New Archetypes
We're getting 8 new archetypes in Expeditions! Keep in mind that all these new archetypes will temporarily be four times more likely to appear in the initial champion picks. A future patch will remove this offering rate boost.
- Darkness Rising: Become one with the darkness and take out your opponent with Senna and Veigar.
- Glory in Value: Discard Sion! Get value! Discard Sion again!
- Landmark Destruction: Blow your stuff up with Ziggs? Blow the opponent up with Xerath!
- Mentors: School is in session for your low Power units with Poppy and Fiora as teachers.
- Playful Pranks: Trick your opponent by pranking their cards with Fizz, with a bunch of cheap spells for Nami!
- Snap Trap Snacks: Lure your opponent in, then spring all sorts of traps with Caitlyn!
- The Magus Ascendant: Terraform Runeterra to ascend Xerath, and rain destruction on the enemy Nexus.
- World Travelers: Make friends with Yordles all across Runeterra with Tristana.

Have a deck that is working or you're theorycrafting? You can build decks with all the new (and old) cards in our deckbuilder. Bonus points if you write a guide after saving your deck to the site so that everyone can learn from your experience.
We know there are some oddities with the new multi-region cards on the site which may cause display issues. Sorry about that, we're working on a solution!
