Felfire in the Hole! didn't see any play in a class that does want AOEs, so if this does see play it would be because of the Naga tag.
Basically 7 mana deal 3 to face.
It took me a minute to realize this goes face too.
Okay that is probably my favorite reveal so far. That kid is funny.
Card itself seems interesting. Bit slow but the body is a decent threat. Might give decks that lack aoe a good tool but without a Vanndar like discount not sure it's good enough.
As with all things, this is going to depend on the meta. So this expansion + whatever the core set brings or gets rid of.
Its funny, because this cards seems to tick plenty of boxes for an amazing 7 drop card, but somehow it still seems weak.
The core of the problem is the cost. An AoE on turn 7 have to clear everything, and 3 damage just isn't going to do much and its too costly to allow anyone but druid to make an additional move to clear up what's left after this deals the AoE damage.
The bulk is respectable, but also quite useless because its turn 7 and if you have no rush or taunt you might as well be skipping your turn. If the AoE doesn't clear then this card is just not doing anything.
And lastly the condition. Its a poor topdeck, you (likely) cannot bounce it for another AoE unless you somehow had 3 coins handy, and then the deck has to reliably be playing a good deal of spells otherwise this card just doesn't do anything useful.
Such a shame really.
I can see Shaman somewhat using this with Bolner and Brilliant Macaw if they want to make a more control tempo variant of Freeze Shaman.
Edit: It does help this card a bit that it can also deal face damage through the battlecry effect too. Doubling up the effect could wipe the board while dealing a fireball to face. I think Shaman still has enough stalls to make this happen, but we will find out if this card will matter at all.
Hmmm... Control rogue? Could easily activate it and distinctly lacks board clears.
Unfortunately, control rogue has always struggled to be a thing. I imagine these naga need to be reactivated if they are bounced.
3 damage is too little too late for turn 7. If Tunnel Blaster wasn't even close to good enough I don't see this making the cut.
