Riot Reveals 5 New Weaponmaster Cards from Legends of Runeterra's Upcoming "Awakening" Expansion

The card reveals for "The Darkin Saga: Awakening" expansion continue with five collectible multi-region cards, all with the new Weaponmaster subtype.

New Vocab - Improvise

In case you missed it yesterday, Riot did eventually share the description of the new mechanic (or Vocab as they call it):

Choose one from two random options from a depleting pool of Equipment and equip it to this ally. If the ally wasn't played from hand, it equips a random Equipment instead.

Ok gotta admit, I didn't expect much out of equipement at first but the more cards get revealed the more excitent the mechanic looks

Damn why is Catch! so much better than Radiant Strike lmao. Not only does it do something else other than +1/+1, it's also technically in three regions (if you want to count Weaponmaster as one).

Radiant Strike is just outdated and bad... so I hope you aren't serious to compare new cards to it. If Radiant Strike was a new card it also would also give tough but then... let's just accept that there are bad cards in the game

I understand but I just find it funny that gun loses to pot.

So it's confirmed: improvise is the LoR version of living weapon.
That's an insane consistancy boost for any equipment synergy deck and i am quite sure that both Fireth, Reaper of the Sands and Ionian Hookmaster will do great work in the equipment archetype
