MARVEL SNAP's newest featured location, Sacred Timeline, has inspired an assortment of strategies so far, and there's still plenty of time to take advantage of its increased appearance. With that in mind, we've gathered some decks from the SNAP community that play well with Sacred Timeline for players at every level of Collection: from the very beginners to those near the end of Series 3 and beyond.
As a Featured location, Sacred Timeline will have a 40% chance to appear for 48 hours, from 7 PM PT Tuesday night to 7 PM PT Thursday night (2 AM UTC Wednesday to 2 AM UTC Friday) - that gives us just enough time to try out these decks that want to see it more often.
Series 1
Devil Dinosaur should be a good fit for the featured location, since he loves getting more cards. This deck is designed to fill the Sacred Timeline quickly with cheap cards, then remove them with Carnage (like The Raft, Sacred Timeline will check to see if it's filled before cards are revealed, meaning you can "fill" it with a Carnage in the final spot, then clear more space for other cards).
Series 2
This Series 2 deck takes the idea of Devil Dinosaur and gets more controlling with cards like Iceman and Scorpion. Also, if your opponent gets too focused on filling the Sacred Timeline, you have the option to Storm it before they get the payoff.
Movement decks can get very flexible, and this deck can fill the Sacred Timeline, then bust a move out of there with Cloak and Doctor Strange. We're also running three Guardians of the Galaxy to get a boost from our opponent's predictability. Hulk Buster is another card that can "fill" the location while leaving a space open for later.
Series 3
This deck from Drewberry is most of a standard Destroy deck, but runs tech cards Elektra and The Collector to keep its opponent from outracing it and benefit from the extra cards, respectively.
This deck, featured by MobileGamer, uses the new Season Pass card MODOK in a discard shell designed to fill the featured location with Swarm and Lockjaw to get back some of the cards it discarded (or maybe you want an extra Apocalypse). Moon Knight is a neat piece of disruption against decks that don't want to say goodbye to their cards.
Our final deck is a Hela discard deck packed with big bodies to resummon after they've been discarded. Also, if Hela was part of your starting hand, you don't need to worry about discarding her, provided you can fill Sacred Timeline before your opponent does.
