Looking for a MARVEL SNAP deck to help you climb to Infinite, or looking for something fresh and hip to take out for a spin? We've gathered 10 decks from around the SNAP community that can help you win games while also having fun.
If you're in the market for some strategic advice, we've included our *personal* recommendations for when it's OK to Snap early with each deck - your mileage may vary.
Den's Discard MODOK
We'll start you off with a handful of decks featuring the new Season Pass card, MODOK. Den has formulated a basic Discard shell for the killing machine, using Lockjaw to cycle Discard effects to feed Morbius and isolate Apocalypse for Dracula.
Snap Early If: You have Morbius on turn 2 and Lockjaw on turn 3, especially if you have cheap options like Swarm to get the ball rolling.
JHugs's Full MorbODOK
This MODOK list from JHugs eschews the Lockjaw build while trying to be as reliable as possible. The newly-buffed Wolverine makes an appearance as a target for Discard to provide free stats from a MODOK.
Snap Early If: You have Morbius and the discard to fuel him, or MODOK and Apocalypse.
Twin Sunz's Strong Guy MODOK
This take on MODOK discard from Twin Sunz does a couple of interesting things. First, it builds around Strong Guy, rather than Apocalypse. Second, it runs Crystal for a mid-game refueling after it's discarded most of its hand.
Snap Early If: You have Strong Guy and MODOK by turn 4.
Raven's Combo MODOK
This MODOK list from Raven gets a touch more expensive by running Shuri, but has a lot of potential with its power plays. Mystique is here to copy the Ongoing effect of either Morbius or Wong. Wong can double Shuri's buff, or the On Reveal of its discard cards to buff Apocalypse up to world-ending Power.
Snap Early If: You have Morbius into Mystique, or Wong into Shuri and MODOK.
TheDycer's Sandman Control
TheDycer has a juicy (non-MODOK) deck this week: one that's designed to play either Psylocke or the newly-changed Zabu on turn 2, setting up a turn 3 Sandman to keep your opponent honest (and make Ronan the Accuser as big as possible).
Snap Early If: You have the cards to play Sandman on 3 - and you'll probably want to do so before your opponent knows what you've done to them.
KrakenNull's Surfer Move
Even with the recent nerf to Silver Surfer, KrakenNull found success with this Movement list that uses 3-Drops Juggernaut and Polaris to mess with the opponent's game plan while setting up a discounted Miles Morales and a (still good) buff from Surfer.
Snap Early If: You can win an early location with a turn 3 Storm plus Juggernaut/Brood, or a turn 4 Storm and (discounted) Miles Morales.
The Daily Snap's Negative Zabu
We continue our trend of decks featuring cards that were recently changed with this Mister Negative deck from The Daily Snap. The new Zabu is a perfect compliment to Psylocke as another 2-Drop that can get Mister Negative on board a turn early, then pivots to the standard Negative shenanigans with Mystique and Iron Man. It even runs Gambit for some swap-friendly board control.
Snap Early If: You can play Mister Negative on turn 3 (and you've drawn no more than one of Iron Man and Mystique).
KMBest's Sera Zabu Control
This Sera control list from KMBest runs (surprise!) Zabu to provide extra flexibility for its final turn, or to get Rescue on the board a turn early. With two ways to play Shang-Chi and Enchantress on the final turn, it has plenty of answers for its opponents.
Snap Early If: You have removal options for your opponent's finishers (Killmonger, Shang-Chi, Enchantress) and a way to play multiple cards on turn 6.
MilkySnap's On Reveal
MilkySnap is very much of the opinion that On Reveal decks with Wong and the usual suspects are in a very good position right now (how many Cosmos did you see in the above decks?). While the star of the show will always be Black Panther and Arnim Zola, this deck has a bunch of other options, including the 2-Drop Mojo to synergize with a zoo full of Tigers or a lab full of Doombots.
Snap Early If: You have Wong, and are reasonably certain your opponent doesn't run Cosmo or Enchantress.
Shuri Toolbox
This deck builds off of the strength of Series 4 card Shuri, running a handful of cards that are at their best when they get double the Power, like Red Skull and Black Panther, but has other options it can pivot into with a variety of payoffs - like the mega-combo of Wong into Shuri into Odin and Yellowjacket.
Snap Early If: You have Shuri on 4, and some combination of cards (Red Skull and Taskmaster, or Black Panther and Arnim Zola, for example) that gets two big bodies onto the board.
