We're getting close to the gaming Oscars! The Game Awards have announced in a Twitter post that the nominees for all categories will be revealed Monday, November 13 at 9AM PT / Noon ET / 5PM GMT. Executive producer and host of the show, Geoff Keighley, will be livestreaming the nominees reveal for "more than 30 categories". For reference, last year's Game Awards features 31 categories.
We're still recovering from the lovely return-to-form BlizzCon 2023 opening ceremony, and things will only get more exciting from here! The Game Awards, if you've never seen it, is not merely an award-dispensing event like the aforementioned Oscars. Several brand-new game trailers are peppered throughout the category award segments, so we definitely recommend watching it live on December 7th if you want to see the big titles coming in 2024!
Who do you hope to see nominated for, say, Game of the Year? What about Best Sim / Strategy or Best Narrative? Let us know in the comments below!

Regarding GOTY, I don't know a single title that comes even remotely close to Baldur's gate. It's like the Elden Ring of this year.
But of course Zelda might be the winner even tho it doesn't deserve it in the slightest. There's nothing really new or groundbreaking with that title but of course Nintendo fanboys will try to make a classic out of it as usual.
If Starfield even appears on the nominees list, this competition is already a failure.
