Disney has confirmed Star Wars Outlaws will be released in 2024. No exact date has been announced yet, but it is something to look forward to for all Star Wars fans.
Quote From Disney The game lets you explore distinct planets across the galaxy, both iconic and new. You can risk it all as Kay Vess, an emerging scoundrel seeking freedom and the means to start a new life, along with her companion Nix. If you’re willing to take the risk, the galaxy is full of opportunity.
Star Wars fans are excited about a female protagonist and already giving her a thumbs up. This is not the first time Star Wars has had a female lead in their games, previously, Iden Versio headlined as the commander in Battlefront II and on the side of films, Rey was a leading character in 2015s The Force Awakens which started the sequel trilogy. This will be the first time that a woman lead has been the central character in an open world Star Wars RPG.
Kay's companion Nix is also creating quite a stir being described as a cute and playful sidekick. Nix belongs to a rare and exotic species known as a Merqaal, which hail from a planet of unknown origin. However, some fans were quick to point out its resemblance to the noble axolotyl – a type of frilled aquatic salamander found on Earth. On social media multiple Star Wars fans have pledged to protect the charismatic creature with their lives but the game trailer suggests it can take care of itself.

I have not played any Star Wars game since Jedi Academy :D But I would be lying if I didnt say this looks extremely promising. Looks like Everspace 2 and Mass Effect: Andromeda had a child. Hell yeah! Im hoping this game will be everything Starfield wanted to be, to push this genre in a good direction.
