Reminder - Full Dust Refund For January Hearthstone Nerfs Going Away Soon

In all the excitement of new cards releasing, you could be forgiven for forgetting that it's been almost two weeks since we saw seven cards nerfed; and, incidentally, two weeks since the last Battlegrounds update - keep those quick changes coming!

If you want to take advantage of the full dust refund for the nerfed cards, make sure you dust them as soon as possible, as they'll be going back to regular dust values before the weekend. We estimate that it'll happen on Thursday, but the patch did drop later than usual, coming in on Friday 10th in EU, so we can't give an accurate time.

As a reminder, here's the cards that were nerfed, along with Discussion threads for them.

  • This type of post is invaluable for people that are not able to track when the dust rewards go away.  I cannot count the number of times that a nerf came through and I had full intention of dusting my cards, but I got lost in something that caused me to miss the last date.  Thank you for posting this.,

  • Big thanks for the reminder.  I dusted cards just yesterday, so nearly forgot it.  But I am sure this helps many more people than you can imagine :) Please, make such news in the future too, it really helps.

     

    If you don't dust cards just after nerfs happen, it's so easy to forget it later on...

  • funny how most of these cards ended up still being staples in their respective decks

    except Apothecary

    and Frost...because Shaman is dead dead.

     

    Kinda like that they no longer go by a "burn and raze" policy and instead just make cards less unfair.

    Now I'm just hoping that if a 3rd round of nerfs ever comes they'll addresss the whole Rogue thing....you know, being able to play about 1/3 of their deck for 0-mana, and occasionally chaining those cards into one another and going from definitely losing to winning instantly without much counterplay.

      Rogue needs the 0 mana cards, otherwise the whole class is trash. Blizz should just start over and put some smart but fair mechanics in Rogue.

      That nerf wasnt a nerf for her, just stopped her being completely broken she's still very strong doubt anyone should dust her

    • If I were you I would dust her, craft her normal, and then craft a second legendary of my choice.
