Oops! The website for the publisher of the Civilization series, 2K, accidentally pushed content up ahead of Summer Game Fest which shows that we're getting a new entry to the series.

Fans of 2K games were incredibly hyped when the Summer Game Fest Twitter account teased that 2K would "reveal the next iteration in one of 2K's biggest and most beloved franchises" back in the middle of May, with fans quick to guess Borderlands, Mafia, and Bioshock as possible outcomes. It looks like we're either getting treated to two new iterations of their franchises, or it looks like it was Civ 7 all along.
