Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.49 Releases on July 25th - New Physics, Return of Eiger Nordwand, Six New Cars

We received a trailer for the Gran Turismo 7 update set to release on July 25th with some new additions:

  • Eiger Nordwand returns from GT5 and GT6 after being absent in GT Sport.
    • This is notably the first GT-original track returning to GT7 after being absent in GT Sport that didn't debut in GT1.
  • New physics.
  • New Michelin-branded tires.
    • The branding appears to be entirely visual, but this will still be extremely great for livery designers.
  • New rims.
  • GT Sophy can now be run on the Lake Maggiore Full Course the the Nurburgring 24h Course (PS5 only)
  • Six new cars
    • Ferrari 430 Scuderia '07
    • BMW M3 '97
    • Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 '08
    • Genesis X Gran Racer Vision Gran Turismo Concept
    • Subaru Impreza Rally Car '98
    • RUF RGT 4.2 '16
      • For people who aren't car nerds: This car, despite its appearance, is not a Porsche. I'd need to write a whole history lesson to delve into this.
