In a presentation given by Hasbro at New York Toy Fair 2020, a slide displayed some mobile UI for MTG Arena!
We've got a look at the home screen for MTG Arena on mobile. The biggest difference is your active quests and mastery progression are displayed on the left side of the screen instead of the bottom. MTG Arena is coming to mobile this year though they have not yet given us a release date. Wizards also made mention of the expansion of Arena into China via a Beta and their continued dedication to Esports.
Are you planning on playing MTG Arena on your phone?
Thanks to Rhovan22 on reddit for initially bringing the presentation to our attention.

Does anyone know if they actually gave anymore details during the event itself? All of this was from an investor's presentation but not the actual "public" fair/presentation. I've seen nothing online about it though, so I imagine this is it? It seems weird that they said there would be more details released at the NY Toy Fair if they were only referring to a super brief mention that they're launching Arena on mobile this year. Anyone know more?
If we knew more, we'd have it up!
Finally!!!! I started playing MTG Arena recently, and have been wanting to play it for a while, but I don't use pc much often so didn't start playing earlier... Now this changes everything! 🙌🙌
And now, my dear friends and site users, HS has finally got a worthy competitor for the title "Best of..." -> Blizz need to step up their "game" big time.
I normally disagree with the idea that competition is going to force hearthstone to increase it's quality because normally others game don't look as polished or simply don't have the support required but with MTG going to mobile a lot of it's base may actually switch over. I know for a fact I'm going to try it out.
I play mainly HS because of mobile client. I guess I am not the only one. If MtGA and LoR will both have mobile clients, I might switch for good.
About time MTG appeared on mobile devices.. While I am thankful Forge exists, it's not exacly the same experience.
2020's looking promising.
