September 16! Mark that date on your calendar because Pokemon TCG is coming out the with the 30th Anniversary Celebration expansion and it includes card packs which contain only foil cards.
The new set celebrates 30 years of the trading card game, which is kind of wild because I could have sworn we just had the 20th anniversary happen, time sure does fly. The new set which drops in September will include:
All foil cards
New Futuristic rare cards featuring Mewtwo and Mew
30 new card illustrations featuring Pikachu
Classic cards coming back alongside new Pokemon ex

Each pack will contain 5 cards in it (plus an all foil energy), with one card being a guaranteed Pikachu, so collecting an entire set is going to be painful if you are planning on it. There are also a total of 30 "classic" Pokemon cards, such as Charizard, which have been given the all foil treatment and can be found in the packs.

We got to see several cards and pieces of artwork of cards in the new set. Here's what we've seen so far:

And we've got stills from the videos showcasing more foil aspects of the cards and art.

Will it Be Possible to Buy Pokemon 30?
Probably not easily. As with Pokemon products for the past few years, they are being botted heavily and scalpers gonna scalp so the prices on this set is almost certainly going to be sky-high. As a fan of collecting cards and playing the card game, that's certainly disappointing but there isn't much we can do about it until Pokemon starts overprinting the sets.
One can hope that they have been quietly printing cards for this set all year long to drop just the most insane amount of product, but even then, with the amount of money floating around in the resale community due to the heavy profits of selling Pokemon cards, this Pokefan isn't very optimistic that there will be anything left on the shelves for us.
Are you looking forward to the release of the 30th Celebration expansion?
